not as good of a story as previous ones in this series
Reviewed: 06-17-24
this one seemed to drag out the story. reusing a lot of previous information from other books.
and why did the storyline remove that Joe was married before he got together with Eve.

Story
The Girl of Sugar Beach is the most watched documentary in television history - a riveting, true-life mystery that unfolds over 12 weeks and centers on a fascinating question: Did Grace Sebold murder her boyfriend, Julian, while on a Spring Break vacation, or is she a victim of circumstance and poor police work? Grace has spent the last 10 years in a St. Lucian prison, and reaches out to filmmaker Sidney Ryan in a last, desperate attempt to prove her innocence. As Sidney begins researching, she uncovers issues that were all overlooked during the original investigation.

Super Series!

After finishing another audio book series, I was looking for one that would have some mystery, thriller, suspense. This Thomas Prescott series gave me all of those plus some interesting information to look up, some sweet romance and comedy.
The main character, Thomas Prescott, is a sleuth with sarcastic wit and I absolutely loved him.
And now after finishing the first 4 books I this collection, I just found out there is a 5th as well as a prequel! So excited!
Next will be the Henry Bins series. I hope he holds up to Thomas.
If this review is read, will someone refer me to other series like this with characters as fun and with depth? I 💗 your work Nick!

I didn't "love" the extra expression in the readers voice. she would have been better to bring it down a couple of notches.
