Phenomenal cast for an amazing post-apocalyptic RH!

If you’re a Why Choose fan, this is just going to be one that you need to check out. A post-apocalyptic setting where 5 military background guys promise to protect a quirky librarian in return for sexual favors? YES PLEASE. This is definitely more a character driven plot for book 1 as our characters get to know each other. I loved how different all the guys were and learning their backgrounds and personality quirks. I did the audiobook for this one and the FULL CAST NARRATION is so freaking amazing. You have to check this one out, it is 100% worth it for RH readers!

I wanted something special for Christmas and Tate & Heather DELIVERED IT wrapped in a sexy AF bow! Is this a typical Christmas book? Heck no. Is everything some sort of perfect corny Christmas reference? Heck Yea. And I was so for it. Rayne Dear is a perfect Grinchy FMC for this storyline and I was all for her men that she came across: Frost, Alfie, and Saint Nick. I wanted all of them 🥵🥵🥵🥵🎄🎄🎄🎄 so freaking HOT! Let’s talk about the storyline: it’s intense and can be hard to digest due to what our Big Bad is up to — read your trigger warnings and skip the appropriate chapter named in the front of the book if needed. That being said, it was all interwoven flawlessly creating both a character and plot driven storyline. Did I mention there’s a dog? Oh yeah. Go read this for Christmas if you’re a RH fan!
This duet style narration was amazing. It completely brought the characters to life!!!

is one of my top Why Choose authors… but throw in a rockstar romance with 4 hot bodyguards!!?? YES PLEASE. Reign had been through so much in her personal life and she came back as a force to be reckoned with!! I don’t blame her for the walls she put up but it was amazing experiencing Dal, Cillian, Astro, and Raffiel tear them down. As per usual, Katie gives you 4 different personalities and relationships from the guys and there’s something for everyone 😜 the spice as usual was top tier RH scenes of course 🤌🏻🤌🏻
I listened to this one on audio and Celia Stone and Vincent Skye did an amazing job with this dual narration. Honestly I recommend any audiobook from Katie’s library!

Jagger Cole is one of the best at enemies to lovers and Devious Vow was no exception. Throw in a workplace romance and second chance love and you’ve got one tension filled steamy romance. I feel like the odds have been stacked against Alastair and Eloise their whole relationship and they had some massive hurdles to overcome in this story. Plus, we’re fighting against the disgusting vial nature of Eloise’s husband as well (PS I do not consider this a cheating trope because of this reason) and her psychotic sister. Eloise has endured so much despite some terrible miscommunication issues between her and Alistair from their early years romance so it was great to have them break down each others walls as they are forced to work together at Alistair’s law firm. The tension and spice and angst between these two 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 so hot! Jagger put a few twists and turns and this one that really added to the story and I was surprised by the final “villain” that our couple had to deal with. I was totally rooting for these two and I was very satisfied with the ended. I also did the audiobook of this one and I thought Walker Williams did an awesome job with Alistair’s prickly nature and Emery Erickson very much embodied Eloise!

I think this is what any woman would want if she ended up stranded in Sweden 🤣 I’m a massive why choose fan so something like this is probably going to check most of the boxes for me if I’m just listening to an easy read. Spice and romance is fast paced and I enjoyed getting to know more about the guys as they felt closer to Daisy. I think they all had trauma that they were able to help each other work through. Daisy’s situation was terrible and I would have run away as well. The ending was 100% a happily ever after. For a contemporary RH, I would say this is more character/spice focused than storyline heavy.

Really solid mafia arranged marriage storyline. Tempest and Dante are honestly hilarious together with her complete chaos she puts into their nuptuals. 😅 I think considering Tempest’s health, I have a lot of respect for what she did for her aunt, despite not knowing how to navigate the mafia world perfectly. These two had a lot of sexy tension between them. Great suspense for the ending twist! 4 stars more because I didn’t connect to the characters as much as I have with Jagger’s in the past. I thought the narrators did an amazing job with this dual narration!

I dove into this one specifically because I was told the full cast audiobook was fantastic — and they were right, it didn’t disappoint 😅 this billionaire MMMF why choose romance is exactly what you want to read if you’re looking for the sexy times to start very early, some alphahole personalities, and mix in a little secret identity. I don’t want to give much away because I think this is one to just try out. There was tension and angst and a pretty good twist at the end. The cast/narrators checked all the boxes for me. I definitely will be diving into more of Sadie’s books!

This is actually the second Devney Perry series that I’ve started after completing the Edens and I feel like this one had a lot of the same elements that I really loved in that series. I feel like I felt so much emotion for the decades long romance of Indya and West. I think there are a few things that hit harder than wrong time/right person romances and this one had all the elements that made it so good to read/listen to. The flashbacks that took place chronologically for the summers that they spent together throughout the story just broke my heart even more for them in the present time. That being said, I think Indya is a fantastically written and strong FMC and I admire the person that she’s trying to make herself into and the life that she’s trying to fight for. West has some big chips on his shoulders, and I really just wanted happiness for him as well. Overall, the completion of the story worked really well for me and I’m interested to meet the couple in the next book.

This is my first Lola King book I’ve read and I have to admit that it was a wild ride. I think the dark romance Romeo and Juliet vibes worked well. The gang war violence and retaliation was believable for me and made a lot of sense for how Billie and Caden found their way to each other. Of note, there is a lot of girl on girl violence which I found surprising as it’s not normally addressed in these types of books IMO. Caden ultimately carried the story and romance for me. I personally think he did way more in their relationship than Billie ever did for him. Billie herself got a little whiny for me at times but by the end of the book she redeemed herself a bit in my eyes. And honestly I think the ending was perfect for who Caden and Billie became. The spice was top tier and if you’re a fan of dub-con/non-con this will definitely be right up your alley. Ultimately I’m curious what else is going on in North Shore in this series!

Well this was a little Halloween delight 😈 The Trick was my first NJ Weeks book and I was pleasantly surprised! I would say if you’re a fan of Butcher & Blackbird but you want/need/are ready for more depravity… this one is for you! I love the Sleepy Hollow references with our main characters: Blair Van Tassel and Maddox Crane. These two are explosive but seem to be fated due to their “proclivities” and love for slasher films. Maddox’s stalker/obsessed nature is delicious as he hunts Blair. The plot is deeper than you think at first when you realize their initial meeting actually happened 15 years ago… and he’s been chasing her ever since. Both refuse to back down but the spice 🥵🥵😮‍💨😮‍💨 these two are fire. I loved the subtle “twist” at the end, I thought it was perfect. I thought Daphne Fields and Tommy Aguilar did a fantastic job with the duet narration!
