Story
Tristan is the second oldest of the Brennan brothers and the odd man out. Most of the Brennan men have careers in law enforcement, but as a psychiatrist, Tristan chooses to help people in a different way. Quiet and restrained, he is content to hover in the background of his more gregarious brothers. Then he meets two men, each broken and damaged from losses beyond their control.

This story is about Micah is a former soldier who suffers from PTSD, Gabe who is mourning the loss of his lover and Tristan who wants them both but can't do anything because he is also their therapist.
We also get to see what happens in the All Cocks productions as well as previous characters, mostly Mattie, Victor and
There is a lot going on in this story which is a mix of high emotions, good humor and hot scenes. The romance between Micah, Gabe and Tristan took a while to take off and seemed to take second place to everything else in the meantime. Also the transitions between scenes seemed choppy at times.
But once the romance took off and Gabe, Tristan and Micah realised they had feelings for each, the conflict ramped up and became interesting as the question becomes, can the three of them work as a whole or will they have to choose? If so who will be left out.
The narration is done well and the narrator managed to convey the different characters and accent. I loved his 'Irish Grandma'. He brought the story alive. Happy to recommend.

Some stories just get better second time around and this is one of them. I read the ebook and loved so I jumped at the chance to listen to the audiobook when it came out.
One of the things I love about audiobooks is the narrator's ability to take a great story and bring it to life in your mind without you having to flip pages. I believe a narrator can make or break an audiobook.
The narrator does an awesome job in bringing the story alive. I love the little nuances in the dialogues that identified the different characters as well as the overall narrative. I didn't have to struggle to identify who'd POV or who was speaking.
On the whole I loved this audiobook. I loved revisiting Rory and Sly as they lay the ghosts of the past to rest and get a second chance at love at Hotel Incognito.
On a personal note, i'd like to know if the author will write another story in this series. There's definitely the scope for it.

Story
To bond with his destined mate, an Alpha wolf must look past what he sees and trust what he feels. Bonded by their parents before they were conceived, wolf shifters Abel and Kai adored each other since they were children. As teens, the two future Alphas took the next step in their bonding process and vowed to remain true to one another until Kai came of age. But when tragedy struck, Abel felt betrayed and ran from Kai instead of completing their mating.

Abel and Kai were predestined to mate even before they were born, a bond created by their parents to bring their packs together. As they grew up their bond is nurtured and it's even better since they seem to adore and care for each other. Abel is the older one and has to wait for Kai to come of age before they can complete the bonding. You can imagine for Abel who has waited his whole life for his mate, he can't wait. But when he turns up to claim his mate, Kai, it seems that Kai doesn't return his feeling.
Fast forward ten years and Abel is still craving Kai but he is also bitter. They've had no contact in all that time and now Abel is the alpha of his pack. But when Kai's sister turns up with news about Kai and asking for help, can Abel really turn his back on the man who should've been his mate?
This is a great, quick, sexy, romantic M/M listen/read. I find that I enjoy this author's paranormal stories a lot more than the contemporary ones. This is one of the best. The narrator does a great job in bringing the characters and story alive. At less than 2 hours length, this is a great audio listen for a train commute. Easy to recommend.

A dozen years, 2,000 miles, and a law degree after high school, Rafi Steiner continues to harbor resentment toward Isaac Jones, his childhood bully turned NBA star. When Isaac appears at Rafi's favorite restaurant acting like a long-lost friend, Rafi bluntly dismisses him. Love and forgiveness
Reviewed: 08-12-16
This is a yummy nugget of a story about love and forgiveness.
What would you do if the boy that bullied you when you were in school turns up twelve years later and wants to date you. Except now he's turned into a sexy hunk of an NBA player and his behaviour is 180 degrees from what it had been. Would you listen to his plea? Would you succumb when his touch makes you burn?
That's the dilemma Rafi has to face in this short story. Like Rafi I was curious as to why Isaac was back in his life, following him around and turning up at his home especially since Rafi remembered him so negatively. I like that Isaac proved himself to have changed and explained his past behaviour reasonably. And of course knowing that he was willing to make sacrifices to have Rafi won me over in the end.
All in all, this is a lovely steamy M/M quickie. The audio narration is done well and brought the story alive. Happy to recommend to fans of #mmromance

This is a lovely story about a woman who's had to put up with deceit and betrayal from her ex. She isn't exactly full of the Christmas spirit until she meets a man who makes her feel good about herself again. Noel and Leon (nice play on sizzled together and I really wanted them to get a happy ever after. But there is so much left unresolved at the end of this book. I really wanted so see/hear more of these two on the page and it's a shame that we waste so much time on the ex at the start of the story and only get to meet Leon a third of the way into the story. I know there's a sequel. So watch out for that. All in all, a good audiobook and the narrator held her own.

It occurred to me as I started to write this review that I don't know the female character's name. I know the men she met are twin brothers, Ben and Bryce. That's the problem with 1st person POV sometimes when no one else mentions the character's name often enough. I think her name was mentioned once when she introduced herself. Anyway, I digress.
I'm going to refer to her as 'she' for the purpose of this review. So she's a rich kid working in her father's company but having to work her way to the top. She's travelling on some business and has to rush to catch her flight as she was running late.
On the plane she meets Ben and their small chit-chat soon turns into a steamy encounter. After the flight, Ben invites her over to his apartment where she meets his brother and a hot menage soon ensues. When all is said and done, will she want more of the brothers?
This is a quick and steamy book. The story is good but I felt it needed tightening in places. When you read a short story you expect it to be crisp and to the point which this one fell short on in places. Still, I enjoyed the steamy moments and the audio narration was okay too.

For Ruby

In For Ruby's Love, we meet Calhoun and Daniel two years into their relationship. They have a good relationship but have their hands full Calhoun with the ranch and Daniel with his business. I guess, it's called the post-honeymoon phase. Calhoun has a problem with one of the horses in the ranch and need a horse whisperer. The person he booked to attend never showed up instead he got Ruby, the horse whisperer's daughter. When she shows up days later, Calhoun is in a bad move and things don't start out too well for her. Ruby is still mourning the loss of her father who'd always been in her life. She feels lonely but knows she has to get on with the job. If only she can get past the brooding cowboy and her attraction for him.
When Calhoun finds out he is attracted to Ruby, he fights it. How could he be attracted to someone else when he loves Daniel? Daniel also notices the attraction between Ruby and Calhoun. He knows Calhoun hasn't been totally settled recently. Is Ruby what his lover needs to complete him?
I enjoyed this duo of stories especially watching as the relationship between Calhoun and Daniel got deeper. Calhoun was always abrasive and I was expecting the introduction of Ruby to mellow him down. But it only seemed to make him even more defensive. I always liked the way Daniel handled the situation. And Ruby was a strong character. She needed to be in order to deal with Calhoun.
I listened to the stories pretty much back to back. They are at a reasonable length that you can listen to both in one sitting. The narrator's voice was okay, albeit he came across as aggressive sounding. But that's because the characters he portrayed seemed to be angry a lot, especially Calhoun.

Story
The whole thing about relationships and feelings confuses the heck out of Calhoun. He's a simple cowboy and he'd been planning to marry a long-time friend for a while. When he finally realizes it doesn't feel right, he lets her go. He probably shouldn't have gone to her wedding to another man, but she wanted him there. But that's when he really gets confused. His eye is drawn to a seriously hot businessman... and that sure does unnerve him...and yet....

In The CEO and The Cowboy we meet Calhoun as the unwanted guest at his ex-fiancee's wedding when he meets Daniel and find out he's attracted to a man for the first time in his life. He's stuck between wanting to run back to his ranch and allowing his body to lead him. Daniel is still reeling from the last relationship he had with another man but when he meets Calhoun he can't help being attracted to the cowboy. He is definitely a persuasive man and they end up in bed together. These two together were certainly hot. But will happen after their lust is sated? Could there be more between them?

Jewel is badly scarred from an acid attack by a boy she rejected. Her mother is dead and her father cares more about his girlfriend. The community she lives in avoids her like she's got the plague and no one will give her a job. In frustration she applies for a one night stand with Madame Eve's service and is sent to a space station.
This is where she meets Vi. Vi has to leave behind everyone she knows when she came to work at the space station. she has a lifetime contract and can't go back but she misses Earth. When Jewel shows up on the station, they are attracted to each other. But Jewel is supposed to be there on a date with another person and only for a limited time. Is is possible to build on their desire for each other even with such an uncertain and temporary set up?
This was a lovely and easy listen. In fact I managed to get through the story in the time it took me to make pancakes for breakfast for the family this morning. The narrator managed to paint the pictures in my head easily and the steamy scene was hot. Looking forward to more from this author.

A great listen
Reviewed: 07-16-15
Another great book from one of my favourite m/m romance authors. I have to admit that at the end of the first chapter of this story I was very angry at both main characters for their selfishness. Hugh is a premier lion whose main, or rather, only purpose seemed to be the pride and Johnnie is a siphon whose purpose is to siphon out the premier's overwhelming energy. The premier needs the siphon but for the past ten years has never paid much attention to him. The siphon attempts to commit suicide and in effect, killing the premier and destroying the pride. Without a siphon a premier will die. His action causes Hugh to take a closer look at Johnnie and to try to understand why he would do such a thing. There starts their journey to love.
I have to say despite my strong emotion at the start of this story, I did eventually come to love this story as Hugh and Johnnie's story developed. It's a mark of a great author to be able to take a reader through various emotions. I came to understand both Johnnie and Hugh and really cheered for them. I loved the level of steam in this romance, although I would've loved the suspense a little tighter.
Huge kudos to the audio performance. The narration is totally flawless and made this audiobook even more enjoyable. Once I plugged in my headset, I didn't unplug it until the end. Overall, this audiobook is a great listen and I'm so glad I picked it up. If you enjoy mm/shifter/paranormal stories then you'll love this one.
