Before you can achieve anything in life, you need a solid foundation of self-discipline. Talent, intelligence, and skill are only a part of the equation. Positive thinking, affirmations, and vision boards are only a part of the equation. If you want to turn your dreams into reality, you need self-discipline. Self-discipline is what will keep you focused when all hell is breaking loose, and it looks like you are one step away from failure.

This book is a summary
Reviewed: 04-09-24
This book felt like a summary of all the other books about discipline and habits I’ve read before. It’s more like ‘what to do to make it easier to be disciplined’.
Good for someone who is completely unfamiliar with the concept I guess.
It made me LOL once imagining how much better off I would be now “instead of watching TV and gossipping” as the author suggested.
But I also did takeaway something useful - not everything you produce is a masterpiece, you’ll probably make a lot of rubbish before you make the thing that brings you success. So keep putting things out there! I think the author is taking his own advice :-)

Story
Should I Stay or Should I Go? is a survival manual, a guidebook, and a shot of reality. Some people will never change, and kissing frogs is the stuff of fairy tales, not real life. The Beast never turns out to be a nice guy (or gal). This is a book that breaks down what mean people do to us, how they do it, and what we can do to survive.

Excellent non judgmental advice
Reviewed: 12-16-21
Most books on narcissism are highly biased to the negative and really unpleasant to read. This one was non judgemental and helpful for someone who wants practical advice on managing a narcissistic relation ship.

Positive advice for ADHD entrepreneurs

Love the attitude towards ADHD being a gift. It isn’t this case for everyone, but if you’re looking for positives and you’re wanting to succeed in life and biz, this book is great.

A wonderful introduction to Gabby Bernstein

Initially I was put off this book by some negative reviews in Audible, but something drew me to it. Thankfully the negative review didn’t hold true and I really enjoyed tapping in to Gabby’s spirituality and views. I’m likely to read the rest of her books now.
