I’m serious– what a game changer intermittent fasting is. And for different generations who maybe didn’t have access to this kind of information in the past (i feel like IF has only just recently picked up steam and got it’s roses the last 5 years or so-could be wrong), they will likely be amazed at just how efficient, easy, and effective this approach to better health, weight loss, and more can be. The thing that amazes me about intermittent fasting is that it doesn’t have to be overwhelmingly harsh on newbies–if you fall off or need a snack here and there, no problem! In my opinion, It’s so affective that you can really pick right up where you left off the next day. I might just have a handful of almonds to see me through long IF sessions. And Olivia Joe has done a great job of making newbies to IF feel not only comfortable with taking on a new approach to betterment, but at supplying them with a wealth of powerful, backed knowledge. IF fan here for life.

A great spiritual take on weight loss

Andrew Green has presented listeners with a new and exciting method for targeting that tricky subcutaneous and visceral tissue that just won’t seem to stay off! Diets, willpower, and rice cakes are fine n all, but we’re all starting to pick up on the fact that we must get to the core of our subconscious to rewrite old programs and repair traumatic patterns that could be causing eating issues. Spiritual people (that this book is kind of made for) will get this concept and are probably pretty familiar with the whole idea. The narration is really fantastic and brings about a sense of calm and it’s so refreshing that the author narrated his work himself–this is always a lovely surprise. I love how this title starts with confidence hypnosis. Because when you really get into that 3rd, solar-plexus self-worth and value energy, this chakra can really be a gateway into changing other areas that one may have been struggling with prior. A great spiritual take on weight loss.

Time travel not just for 80s movies

In House of Abundance Publication’s ‘Beginners guide to parallel realities,’ we explore a variety of open-ended, spacious, and profound wonderings based on the myriad of scientific, technological, and spiritual gains within the last century. If something like quantum physics 100 years ago proved that we can collapse waves into particles (light/photons into physical matter) on a teeny, tiny scale just by observing and, at the same time, spiritual teachers are talking about different realities, dimensions, and parallel worlds, and on top of that, within the last decade or so, the world’s biggest brainiacs are postulating that we are in some kind of rendered virtual reality, then what does all of this madness mean?! It probably means that there is way more to reality then most of us can and have perceived. And so, ergo, those interested in such wonders might want to take in a beginner’s book such as this to get to grips, in simple terms, how the aforementioned marvels and additional mind-bending ideas such as time travel might not be just an 80s movie script idea. Excellent stuff.

With some self reflection, I think it’s safe to state that most of us have words, actions, and behaviors from our pasts that we would go back and change if we could. Unfortunately, time machines don’t exist, at least not yet. And although it can be quite painful to realize when we have erred and acted or spoken out of emotion instead of acting like the cool, calm, and collected, clued-in, and stoic souls that our OCD wishes we were, these “mistakes” are actually the catalytic components we so desperately need in order to evolve into the emotionally intelligent Charizards we all admire. And M.L. Johnson kind of gives us the keys to the emotionally mature, rational, and forward thinking Lamborghini that will have us acting like less of a social nightmare and more of the kind of person others want to engage with. My favorite part of this title was the know-how on how to remain calm (as if you are un-triggered) in triggering events, confrontations, and situations. This stuff really goes a long way to making life move more smoothly.

We all know how random life can seem at times and unfortunately (or perhaps, fortunately), not everything is set in stone. And so, it makes sense to plan to the best of our ability, and when we have a lifetime of achievements, properties, material accumulations, businesses, and so forth, it is imperative that we make sure to pass on what we need to pass on by way of our intentions and wishes. And Anna Eiken helps listeners do just that with an informative and detailed guide on proper estate planning. My favorite thing about this wonderful title is that it makes it incredibly easy for the listener to incorporate the steps and offers detailed guidance on where to go, what documents to attain, and who to talk to about such matters. There is nothing left to guessing here–everything is laid out in simple, easy to digest terms so that even those new to such topics need not be toppled by overwhelm.

I like how this title goes into detail on the inner software systems that makes modern technology like Chat GPT work. This was really great to get into the inner workings of cutting edge technologies that strengthened my understanding so much so that I would feel more confident using this kind of stuff for my businesses. I also liked how the book nods to the fact that lots of modern AI software actually quite often provides nonfactual and irrelevant results, therefore needing a human to step in. I thought this was quite refreshing to come across seeing as so many modern titles bask in the glories of such technology without emphasizing this very real fact. Russel Grant is a great writer and the narration is also perfect for what this guide is–a smorgasbord of powerful digital, and traditional business know-how, ranging from marketing hacks, to data analysis, to SEO, to just about anything else you could need or imagine.

SEO is something that many small business owners have thought to become more and more difficult to utilize this past decade or so. However, this is not quite the case, especially when optimizing certain digital platforms, opportunities, and cutting edge softwares (AI, anyone?). You'll find that oppurtunity is still abound. And Joyce T. Spills the T on just about everything a budding digital business owner could want to know when it comes to thriving in the digital landscape. My favorite thing I took away from this was the incredible guidance on setting up self automating tools within my business, particularly with email marketing and social media platforms. You can sit there on a day where you have a lot of time and energy and go to town setting up auto-promtps to actually grow your business, increase traffic, grow subscribers and your following, etc, so that you can enjoy freed up time afterwards, either for other tasks, or life in general. Digital business is awesome business!

The narrator is fantastic for these bedtime stories and almost gives of Ringo Star vibes from Thomas the Tank Engine (anyone growing up in my era will relate!). My favorite story was probably the story about Liam really wanting a dog. Liams parents won’t get him a dog because they already are so busy with him and his sister and also, they live in an apartment and don’t have room. But Liam perseveres and the story is so heartwarming as it highlights why Liam felt sad because he didn’t receive as much attention from his parents now that his sister is in the picture. So along with the main story content, this book really does what it says–helps listeners understand how to manage big emotions. There are ton more fun stories like this that will help little listeners with a ton of life lessons as they drift off.
