Story
Evie Crowe is starting over in a strange town with her newborn, and men are the furthest thing from her mind. If only the quiet, hulking farmer, Luke Ward, would stop coming into the thrift shop and piquing her reluctant interest. Evie wants to stay single all the way—she can’t trust anything more than friends-with-holiday-benefits. But Luke is in it for the long haul. He’s fixed on making this a Christmas Evie will remember forever. If she gives him a chance.

Listening to the reader was difficult. The voice and story didn't work.
Would you recommend 7 Brides for 7 Bodies to your friends? Why or why not?
Only because it is a follow on to a series.
What didn’t you like about Maureen Jones, VOplanet Studios’s performance?
Listening to the reader was difficult. The voice and story didn't work. Also, did anyone listen to it, and catch the mistakes? That makes me crazy.

fun tale of love

Any additional comments?
I completely understand some listener's problem with the narration, but if they stop to think it takes a certain voice to be able to speak American English and Irish Accent English interchangably, it is a challenge. If you let yourself go with the story, you, don't notice the narration and can enjoy the story.
