Story
Being young is all about the experiences: the first time you skip school, the first time you fall in love...the first time someone holds a gun to your head. After being held hostage during a robbery at the local convenience store, 17-year-old Edie finds her attitude about life shattered. Unwilling to put up with the snobbery and bullying at her private school, she enrolls at the local public high school, crossing paths with John. The boy who risked his life to save hers.

A little disappointed
Reviewed: 06-25-20
The reviews were so good. But I found it to be long drawn out and boring. I had force myself to finish after about chapter 30 and still probably tuned out most of it. Don’t get me wrong I’m all for the slow burn of romance but it was too slow. Just a reminder why I don’t read/listen to adolescent dramas/romances. The author is good and the narration was on point as always with Andi. I just couldn’t connect I guess.

I was a little skeptical about purchasing this title but am so glad I did. Leah did an amazing job telling her story about her experiences with the church. Never a dull moment.

Story
We come from two different worlds. I’m from the streets. She might as well live in an ivory tower. I made my living with my fists. I doubt she could even throw a punch. Our paths never should have crossed. We never should have met. That doesn’t change the facts. I would sell my soul to taste those red lips. Fight the devil himself to hear her laugh. Burn in hell to have a single night. Scarlett Priest shouldn’t even know men like me exist, but sometimes temptation is stronger than will. If this is how I go down, it’ll be worth every second of the fall.

SLOW AS HELL!
Reviewed: 01-13-20
It really saddens me to write this review, because M.M. Is one of my top 5 authors and her novels are usually so good. This story was very slow and boring from about chapter 2 until after around 20 which is bad because its 57 chapters long! I really didn't care for the female narrator either. The way she exaggerated her R's was so annoying very valley girlish. Scarlet was unimpressive in my opinion and I found her to be just BLAH. Loved the male character as always very alpha. I probably won't continue the series if I have to use a credit. I didn't find the story line to be interesting enough to continue even with a cliff hanger.

Finally redeemed herself!
Reviewed: 11-20-19
A.R.R. totally redeemed herself with this one. The last 2 or 3 in the serious were honestly not that good and felt rushed. Until sage and Until Harmony’s narrations were just awful! But, Until December was a breath of fresh air. Garreth and his boys where so sweet and had been waiting patiently for someone like December to come into their lives. I loved that she didn’t force herself into their lives and the relationships were natural. A second chance love for one and the love that the other thought they would never have. Can’t wait for May’s story. Hopefully it won’t disappoint.

Story
Dillon Keck knew Ashlyn Mayson was drunk when she suggested they get married. He knew he should have taken her back to their hotel room. Instead, he did what he had been craving to do since the moment they met. Claim her as his. Waking up married in Vegas isn't something Ashlyn ever thought would happen to her. Having Dillon, her boss, insist they stay married is absurd. But someone isn't happy for Dillon and Ashlyn and their newfound romance, and they're willing to do anything to keep them apart. Even commit murder.

Like the story, hate the female Narrator
Reviewed: 01-14-19
Ok, maybe that was a little harsh. But I just really don't like the voice of the female Narrator. I wont listen to any novels Narrated by her. For me it kind of effects how I feel about the story. With that being said, ASHLYN is a total brat. I had high hopes for her character but was disappointed. I liked the story line but hated her constant complaining and overall brattyness .

Tanner's acting career had just begun. He was hotter than the stage lights and twice as captivating. The gorgeous Australian A-lister was everyone's teenage dream. And he'd picked me. Or so I thought, until he proved to be as false as everything else about Hollywood. Now I've finally scored the perfect opportunity to star in a major film. The kicker? Tanner will be my costar. I don't know if I can do this one more time....

Story line was so so. Way to drawn out could have gone faster. Found myself skipping ahead to get on with it. Biggest thing for me was the female narrative her voice was too WHINNY!! Like every line! I did like the characters and would have enjoyed it more if I read it first. Although Jenna was annoying throughout the tale.
