What a difference a narrator makes

Loved all the twists and turns.

The story was riveting - the twists in the plot kept me guessing. The narrator has a low key, laid back style that seemed to complement to story line very well, and enhanced the plot in some of the tenser scenes of the story. I can"t wait to read my next Harry Hole story!

I felt like I had been transported 85 years into the past for the week or so that I listened to this story. The story was engrossing and vivid and I did not want it to end - both the writing and the narrating are absolutely charming.

I got this audiobook thinking it was a China Bayles mystery and was disappointed at first when I found out otherwise. But I ended up really enjoying this story -- the story is engaging and well written and imaginative. Give it a try! It will make you smile.
