Story
I played all those cool video games. I watched all those movies. I even read the books. In most of 'em, the hero shoots the bad guys, drives a sweet car, never gets hungry, and always seems to get laid by the end. Yeah. Whatever. I gotta be straight with you about why I wrote this journal, and it comes down to one thing, the apocalypse kinda sucks. It doesn’t meet my expectations at all.

from the moment I got into the book I liked Dusty he was just your normal guy and the story is really good Bobby Adair did a wonderful job writing this hopefully first part to a series. it had a lot of the elements that a good story has but it feels like the first part of the real book and I hope there's more.

not the best audio book, better written

this has become one of my favorite audiobooks

Lloyd James has always been one of my favorite readers ever since I discovered Robert Heinlein but this is on a new level and it opens up my mind to philosophy and history that I never knew I needed. taoism and Confucianism is a huge asset to this world and I believe everybody should go through it.

really good book with 1 catch
Reviewed: 11-14-21
the book was great and the narrator did wonderful my only complaint is that the author left a few loose ends, possibly there's another book on the way? Either way it was a good book but I do feel it lacked some of the silliness and comedy that the avatar shows had. it would have been nice to see an ancestor of the Cabbage man or perhaps more insight into the history of the nation's themselves otherwise great book I am thoroughly satisfied with the two that I went through and I hope there is more books to come!
