Story
Reunited in love after 35 years and suffering from a serious case of pre-retirement wanderlust, Lynne and Tim Martin made a life-altering decision: They sold their house and possessions and hit the road to live internationally full-time. Now tethered to nothing but their suitcases, each other, and their next exotic location, they've never looked back. From sky-high pyramids in Mexico to monkeys in Marrakech, this delightful, inspiring memoir is a romantic tale of derring-do for grown-ups and a road map for anyone who dreams of turning the idea of life abroad into a reality.

Too air-head-light for me!

While the idea of living anywhere, such as in exotic places, is romantic and seemingly attractive, I was left unsatisfied by the fluff and seemingly overly-easy manner of the story. Where were the stumbles and bumbles associated with living "anywhere"?
I felt many things were glossed over to keep the story upbeat and rosy. I did not sense it fully conveyed the actual events one would "suffer through" to live anywhere. It lacked balance.

Story
On May 1, 1915, with WWI entering its tenth month, a luxury ocean liner as richly appointed as an English country house sailed out of New York, bound for Liverpool, carrying a record number of children and infants. The passengers were surprisingly at ease, even though Germany had declared the seas around Britain to be a war zone. For months, German U-boats had brought terror to the North Atlantic.

Intriguing

What a wonderfully woven story of international intrigue amongst one of the saddest events in the last century.
As the story unfold, one gets to know each of the characters on an intimate, personal level.
Erik Larson does an exquisite job of unfolding the myriad of fateful events that led to the tragic end of the Lusitania and brought the U.S. Into WW-I.

Story
This poetic and evocative audiobook, drawing on the personal experiences of Good Buffalo Eagle, presents the meditations of an ancient Anasazi tribesman who rejects his family and community and walks off into the desert. During his journey, he discovers the seven paths of the Anasazi way, each path teaching a lesson symbolized by an element of the natural world: light, wind, water, stone, plants, animals, and finally the unity of all beings with the Creator, the path of We. By walking these paths, he discovers the roots of his conflict and the way toward reconciliation.

Deeply inspirational!

Seven Paths is deeply reflective of who we are. It inspires one to reflect on one's inner feelings and to balance what we feel about others in context with how we feel within one's self.
It inspires one to strive to be a better person.
