Another great addition to the story!
Reviewed: 07-21-24
Fujino Omori does really well progressing Bell's story and character. He continues to expand both the character and the wider world. He's setting up storylines that aren't fully resolved while also resolving other plot points by story end. Gotta read the rest of the series to see what happens with the Soma Familia.

A very well written and very relatable story! The MC Cameron and all of his geeky and nerdy friends are very likable and dynamic. A lot of self exploration with a nice romance story and coming of age. Highly recommended for anyone of the geek and nerd variety.

A great listen!
Reviewed: 05-09-23
Spice and Wolf anime is one of my comfort animes. It's such a chill series but enough plot and conflict to keep it moving forward. Holo is trying to find her home and with each step that gets her closer, it seems they always find themselves in some drama. I listened to the audiobook and, although I'm not sure why they added Brina Palencia (she is the VA for Holo) since they didn't have her in the first audiobook, other than because she is Holo. She does a great job, of course, but it's really random where they switch, especially since the novel is never in her POV. J. Michael Tatum does a wonderful job and is one of my favorite VAs.

The concept definitely hooks you in very well and keeps you hooked with the first major conflict. From there the relationship with the hero and his new companion was done very well. definitely a good choice for Isekai fans.

Reviewed: 09-10-22
This novel did a great job showing the background of obi wan and Qui Gon as the books name suggests and their relationship as master and Padawan. The story was also very captivating and interesting as well. A well done addition to the SW universe, great narration too.

If you're a YA reader with an affinity for anything Japanese, this is definitely the strong for you! The characters throughout, relationships built and character growth was done very well. The integration of Japanese culture into the book was done flawless and you're likely to learn a few things from the book. A great narrator for Sky with good Japanese skills too.

Along the way, Kirito nearly falls to a plot hatched by the enemy salamanders.

So when a deadly virus breaks out, they're the only ones with a chance of surviving. The virus turns Brian's classmates and teachers into bloodthirsty attackers who don't die easily. Reviewed: 05-15-22
Tom Leveen does great at showing that during a freak zombie apocalypse at a high school, no matter your identity whether white, black, brown, latinx, male, female etc. we all bleed the same. A great way to show a very dysfunctional high school and how people can work together to survive something apocalypctic despite differences.
