Another stellar performance of a well written story. If you enjoyed ToF, you’ll be more than happy with this listen. My guess is Peter Kenny has brought you here, as his performance of a diff Sapkowski narrative is maybe the best of all time. If so, you’ll love this.

I’m about to start Light Perpetual and that should say enough.

Excellence from a team you’ve come to expect it from. The narrator is my favorite of all time.

I loved that Jefferson did EVERYTHING. We got a new story, and a simple collection to make an even 10 Expanse titles.

If you’re here because the other 9 weren’t enough, give it a go. I didn’t find it as emotionally satisfying as the core 9 but there are some great victories here.

The new perspectives were more than I could have asked for. I was on the edge of my crash couch the whole time. This is most epic chapter in The Expanse that I’ve read yet. I’m only writing this because I opened audible to download Babylons Ashes.

I think this is even better than Calibans War. Top notch everything and we get two great new characters. I liked Christian but she grew annoying. Not happening in this one. Highly recommended.

I dove in because it was advertised as King meets Crichton. Pretty high bars to meet but I think the writer did a great job of finding the criteria. High quality writing. The story stays on track more than Crichton does imo. Quite a fun small scale story that does realism 7/10, fantasy 8/10, and sci-fi 9/10. The story is well-written enough that I downloaded his other stories also. I shouldn’t forget to mention that the performer does an excellent job, and fed into my desire to download more audiobooks with him in them.

Love the humor and witty writing. Just goofy enough without losing any quality of story. I will at the very least pursue the other two in this trilogy.

These novels do not seem to be written for the easily offended. In fact, Bonfigliogi consistently breaks the fourth wall in discussion with how well he knows the audience. I feel this is because those of us who enjoy his writings have a similar sensibility about us.

This continues the Mortdecai comedic approach with a lightning fast pace. This is the actual sequel to Don’t Point That Thing At Me, picking up at the end of that narrative.

Highly recommend.

I’ll be honest. I was looking for a military thriller of the nonfiction variety. Reviews and praise from BRCC brought me here, but the fantastic writing of just-believable tales made me stay. I couldn’t listen to this book fast enough.

It’s an enriching journey into the brains of humans and our animal brethren. The honesty and dry English wit suit the story well.

As far as comparisons go, I’m not sure where I’d stick it with literature. The first thing I can think of is Pain and Gain, an equally wacky but wholly compelling story of nonfiction that makes you doubt what you are seeing, or hearing in this case.

Anyways, listen to it. The author does a great job sharing his thoughts aloud and I look forward to anything else this man writes.

See you in the snake dens.

Longtime agent here. This is fantastic in multiple ways. The performances are way above par. Sound effects, ambiance are amazing as well. If you’re into action literature at all, definitely give this a listen. It’s high octane and pleasing throughout. I’d of gladly paid for this.
