Story
Nick Winters and Noel Carter have known each other their whole lives. After years of shared family holidays, working together on the Winters’ Christmas tree farm, and being each other's safe haven, they wouldn't dream of crossing the line from friends to something more.... But when Nick comes home for the holidays after serving overseas and finds that his long-term girlfriend has decided to get her stocking stuffed elsewhere, Noel is there to pick him up and show him that instead of a Blue Christmas he can still have a Wonderful Christmastime without his cheating ex.

Nice, Spicy Christmas Romance
Reviewed: 12-27-20
I am a little confused, and I am not going to lie. It seemed like some of the characters were Southern, but I have no idea why. Maybe I missed something at some point, but being from Alabama, it sounded like some of the family was from Georgia. If it was explained I really did miss something. This was a cute little romance, and then, boom, it turned Very spicy! I liked this as a nice little Christmas treat. I thought the story was okay, but this was not the best thing I have read. I am glad it was free with audible, and if you are going to have to use a credit for this, or buy it, do not do it! Cute, but glad it was free.

This was an okay read for me. It was not the best book I have read, but certainly not the worst. I feel that there was not enough character development for me to enjoy it to the fullest. I liked the idea an premise, but in the end I was ready for it to be finished. I would say do not waste a credit on this one.

Story
On an island off the coast of Ireland, guests gather to celebrate two people joining their lives together as one. The groom: handsome and charming, a rising television star. The bride: smart and ambitious, a magazine publisher. It’s a wedding for a magazine or for a celebrity: the designer dress, the remote location, the luxe party favors, the boutique whiskey. The cell phone service may be spotty and the waves may be rough, but every detail has been expertly planned and will be expertly executed.

Not Sure What Everyone Listened To
Reviewed: 12-11-20
I see so many great reviews for this book, but I just do not get it. I do think it is trash, it was just not good to me. I had to start this book at least four or five times. I gave up and kept going. I could not ever get into it, despite trying really, really hard. I actually stopped listening gladly thinking it was over and later went to delete it and find out I still had almost 10 minutes left. The performances were amazing, this one was just not for me.

Plagiarism - Cannot Fake Care or Surprise
Reviewed: 12-07-20
I cannot believe that audible has rewarded this fake, scripted show that was proven to have blatantly committed plagiarism, did not site their sources, and then when called out, STILL did not go back and give credit where credit was due. Audible, you should be ashamed to let this be available on your site while they are making tons of money on the hard, long work of others. Do not follow these women who are fake and cannot even act their way out of a wet paper bag as the tell the scripted story each episode. If you need me to site my sources, I will be happy to do so. I, unlike this show, have morals.

Amazing Read, Perfect Narration!

I really loved this book and thought it was very entertaining. It has a lot of religious things dropped throughout the book that one who is not paying attention. Everything from people's names, to faith, and even the baby. This was amazing, a great read, and short if you are looking for something you read quickly. Mia Farrow is divine. I highly recommend this book.

Perfect Christmas Suprise!
Reviewed: 05-28-20
I had gotten this book somehow, maybe as a free original on month. This was such a wonderful surprise! I love and loved it so much, it made me so happy. I wish this was even longer than it was and was a full length book. The characters are wonderful and lovable. I loved the different POV and the narrators are amazing. Two of my favorites. I have been reading so many thrillers and listening to so many true crime podcasts that I needed something lighthearted. This was just what I needed. This was well worth the read! I cannot say that enough.

A Great Listen, But Not My Favorite In The Series
Reviewed: 05-07-20
This series is one of my absolute favorites! I love the author, the characters, the main character Kate, and even the narrator. A narrator can make or break an audiobook, and Kathleen McInerney is unbelievable. She compliments the novel and Linda Castillo's vision perfectly. I have read all the books in the series up to this point, and while I love the series, and this is a great addition, it was not my favorite book I have read by this author. If you are a hardcore fan of this series like me, you will be happy just to have a new book to read. If you are a casual reader of her books, and listener, you may not want to spend the money on buying the book. Buy the book or get this in a sale. I know that sounds like it will make no sense, and I am sorry, but let me say it this way. The narration is great, overall it is great, the story is a little less than great. Still an awesome read and good surprise ending!

I cannot express how much I loved this book! I read the author's book that is prior to this one, The Friend Zone, and I loved it, but it ended so sad. I was glad to have the second book that compliments the first and have it end on such a high note. I would love to see another book about Lola or even Zane! The book made me laugh, sigh, and even shed a tear or two. I recommend that anyone who reads this book to listen to the songs that are listed with each chapter. It really adds to the story, and is just some really awesome music. I was glad to see several that I know and love in there that could be hidden gems for others. This was amazing, and I have been recommending it to everyone I know!
