Good content! Great listening experience! The voice was animated enough to hold interest.

Content-wise, it's really an introduction to the topic. So I think it passes for its aim.

Anyone who knows Pilgrim's Progress will not contend that it is gold.

Presentation is the distinction. And with that, this one did well :)

It wasn't hard to listen through the whole thing. Narration was good. As for the content, it was broad enough to be beneficial to all audiences but specific enough to be applicable.

I read this after James Clear's "Atomic Habits". If James Clear focuses more on the processes, Judson Brewer focuses on the cognitive processes involved. Clear focuses is a great read on systems while Brewer is a great read on mindfulness. In a nutshell, here are the key ideas:
1. We have cravings
2. We have to acknowledge our cravings
3. We can prevent cravings from controlling by:
- identifying triggers
- establishing one's identity
- enduring the craving with the aid of meditation

It's not a step-by-step type. But it dives into identity, destiny, and one's capacity. Telling people what to do is one thing. Telling people they were made to be holy and pure is another.
