Authors Read Your Own Books

I loved the outside the box ideas presented in this book. Also, getting some insight on companies I use on a daily basis was very interesting. The only minus I had was the narration. It was very dry and lifeless, which I often find to be the case when it is read by someone other than the author.

Extreme Blah

I was hoping that, from the title of this audiobook, I was going to gain some material insight as to how top performing companies build, manage and motivate high performing teams.

That's now what I got.

I got a bunch of standard managment consulting speak about building unique culture and people tactics from these companies that I've read in prior articles in Forbes, Fast Company or Bloomberg. Nothing new.

Now don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting to receive something that would be earth-shattering, but I was hoping for a nugget or two.

Nada. Nothing, Zilch.

And just to be sure. I listed to this one twice.
