What a fun and funny listen!

I'm so impressed by Erin Mallon's writing. She is such a wonderful narrarator who decided to become an author too. Everything that I have read and listened to of hers has been so funny and fresh and this audiobook is no exception.

The Narwhal Strikes Back! has an amazing cast of narrators that give an incredible performance. It is so worthy of a credit!

I can't wait to listen to her next audiobook.

An Heartfelt Emotional Journey Of Love

Before I Let Go is my most anticipated book of 2022 and I am here to tell you it is AMAZING 👏🏾 🙌🏿 💙🧡💙🧡

All the stars for this beautiful, emotional, gut-wrenching, poignant, sexy, heartfelt book . ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kennedy Ryan is one of my favorite romance authors. I always know that reading one of her books will take me on an emotional journey but also a feeling of connection. She writes the love stories of people with real life issues such as depression, grief and loss. Before I Let Go is no exception.

The protagonists Yasmen and Josiah are navigating their lives post divorce with two children. They own a successful restaurant together and share custody of their children. There is a lot of hurt, grief and anger between them but there is also still lots of love, sexual chemistry and tension that is palatable.

I was so in awe of the growth of Yasmen and Josiah in their personal journeys through therapy to find healing from grief and unimaginable loss. I was also flustered with the heat of a "hotlanta" sun with their smexy scenes together 🥵

The narration by the wonderful Wesleigh and Jakobi gave life to these characters in such a vivid way. I read the book before listening to it and I can tell you the narration gives it even more emotional depth. Their narration made them seem tangible.

Before I Let Go has everything you want in a romance novel and more. You may cry reading it, but you will also rejoice in the power of love to heal and reconnect two people who are destined to never let go of each other.

For Dark Romance lovers

My weekend was very hot even though the temperature was in the low 70's in Los Angeles. This is because I was listening to this scorching audiobook Lust🥵🔥🥵🔥🥵 .

I will say up front that this book is only for grown folks who can deal with triggers like noncon, dubcon, gaslighting, manipulation and forbidden love. If you are like me and love dark romance and can handle these triggers, this book is for you. It features an incredibly jealous, possessive Alpha villain named Tristian that will go to any length to have the heroine Sara and boy do I mean any!

Lust has some paranormal elements too which gives it a very cool sub plot. I love the dark vibes of the story and how it influences the main plot.

Lust is part of the Seven Sins Series but can be listened to as a stand alone. This audiobook was just the dark smexy listen I needed to spice up my Saturday night. 🥵🔥😏

Fun, sexy with Duet narration

This was the second time I listened to Teddy Hamilton in duet narration and he really sounded like he was having lots of fun!

The love story was cute and sexy and the "family drama" brought a depth to the book and set a great emotional tone.

I tend to listen to all of Amy's books and I'm even happier I listened to this one.

It was nice to be back in the soccer ⚽️ world with those sexy Harris Brothers.

Solid listen that is worth the credit.

Awesome Dark Irish Mafia!

This was such a good listen! I love mafia romance and this was a good one. Jack was the perfect blend of possessive alpha baddie and Maeve was the woman he wanted but didn't want to want him 😂 That always makes for a captive romance good time.

I loved that there was real mafia business going on and not just a romance. The side characters were lots of fun and they are a set up for the next story! Yay Shay!

The narration was perfect with real Irish accents so that made for a wonderful listen. The only way to make that better is with duet narration. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾 for the next one.

All and all well worth a credit and a sexy good listen!

Strong Female Lead

If you like bully romance where the girl stands up for herself and doesn't take any mess from her bully You will love this story.

She gives as good as she gets even when she has to face down many male bullies at her school an all boys school.

Young high school kids are hard to relate to for me and I will admit this book was even more difficult in that since most of them were rich. But what made it work was the heroines take no prisoner attitude and her confidence in herself. I love a strong female who will stand up for herself even in a case like this where she is way out of her comfort zone.

The romance is pretty typical in how bully romances play out but there is a cliffhanger that changes the dynamics on the next books in the series.

So if you feel a little aged out of this genre give it a try for your younger take no prisoners self.

My biggest complaint is I really feel this needed dual narration.

Sexy hot vow!

Vow! is one of my favorite audiobooks in the Brutal Birthright series. It is also one of the sexiest.

Raylan and Riona were fire and had that classic enemies to lovers vibe down pact.

I loved Raylan's protectiveness even in the face of Riona's uptight stubborn attitude. But even she couldn't hold out for long facing Raylan's laidback charm and overt sexiness.

I loved the banter of this book and it made for some fun and hot scenes.

The narration was on point and Wen Ross gave Raylan that sexy voice you would expect him to have.

All in all this was a really good listen and addition to this awesome series.

Classic Dark Enemies To Lovers

Hi really enjoyed this one as it is an example of the classic dark enemies to lovers trope. Aiden hates his bride he is forced to marry just because of who her family is and his belief that she wants the marriage. He treats her so badly in the beginning until they both succumb to the heat between them and he learns she didn't want the married either.

After that they are all heat and chemistry. They need to be a united team because they face danger that they never saw coming and they will learn that love is the best thing ever worth fighting for.

Really good narration by Elizabeth Russell and Gregory Salinas.

This audiobook is definitely worth a credit!

Second Book Is The Charm

I really enjoyed this book. There are a lot of revelations made. Santiago is still is jealous possessive alpha self. It is still a lot of swoony goodness and smexy times with them..

Much has happened in their lives and the danger is still lurking. There are some major shocks that throws everything up in the air and sets the stage for an epic 3rd book.

As in the 1st book the narration was good but I still can't quite reconcile why Santiago doesn't have a little bit of an accent.

Can't wait for book 3!

What An Epic Series

I knew this series would come to an end one day and I thought I would be prepared for it - I wasn't. When I finished Complicate, I took the time to absorb the journey of the protagonists from book 1 Deliver - Liv to this last book of Cole's. What an incredible journey it has been. Even though each of these books are a standalone based on different couples they are all connected by survivors/warriors and awesome villains!

Cole's story is indeed complicated. He was involved in a love triangle in the One Is a Promise trilogy and years later found himself on the front lines with a misfit gang of "villains". His journey is very different then the other people in this series but it is no less heartbreaking. I loved Cole since The One is a Promise trilogy and I was so hurt by his heartache. But I cheered to see him get back into action as a crusader for justice by joining the Deliver team. I knew it would be good for his soul. I also knew that eventually it would be good for his heart...

This book has Cole falling hard and fast while kicking and screaming with his inner demons for a woman that is truly his equal and match. The gorgeous "villain" Lydia brings Cole to his knees and takes him on a hot and obsessive journey filled with passion and danger. She is the woman that he was meant to dance with all along. These two really know how to tango as their passion explodes off of the pages leaving you gasping! This is the love story and woman that Cole deserves - he just has to live long enough to see his happily ever after.

This book was a wonderful and bittersweet ending to a sexy, brilliant and dark series. Never have I met so many villains that I fell for emotionally and physically. Somehow Pam redeems them all. Though Cole was never a villain, he too finds redemption for past mistakes and wrongs. This story also helps me heal from Cole heartache and redeems Pam in my eyes from her wounds against him and me in One is a War (LOL).

I will miss reading this series but I love that somewhere out there in the land of fiction these survivors/warriors and "villains" are still out there fighting the good fight while loving passionately with their entire being. Cheers to them all and to Pam for one heck of a ride!
