YOUNG ADULT
Revisado: 12-22-24
I wish the description would have shared this was a young adult book. Read just like a young adult book - silly, immature, etc.

The invitation to her school reunion couldn’t have come at a better time for Chloe Flynn. Divorced, broke and bored at work, she’s living a life her teenage self would hate. Turning the clock back fifteen years might be just what she needs to wipe the slate clean and start again. I thought that the narrator sounded too immature and made the story seem a bit too immature. Storyline was ok.

What did I just read? Total waste of time.
Revisado: 06-06-23
What did I just read…..????? I cannot recommend this book. Silly. Immature. Amateurish. Implausible. Murder never investigated. Arson never investigated. What? I knew the book wasn’t the greatest as I limped through it but didn’t realize it was such a ridiculous story until towards the end. What a waste of time. Pass.

Historia
Two words: the bullet. That's all it takes to shatter her life. Caroline Cashion is beautiful, intelligent, a professor of French literature. But in a split second, everything she's known is proved to be a lie. A single bullet, gracefully tapered at one end, is found lodged at the base of her skull. Caroline is stunned. It makes no sense: She has never been shot. She has no entry wound, no scar. Then, over the course of one awful evening, she learns the truth.
