Historia
Looking at real estate isn’t usually a life-or-death situation, but an apartment open house becomes just that when a failed bank robber bursts in and takes a group of strangers hostage. The captives include a recently retired couple who relentlessly hunt down fixer-uppers to avoid the painful truth that they can’t fix their own marriage. There’s a wealthy bank director who has been too busy to care about anyone else and a young couple who are about to have their first child but can’t seem to agree on anything.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

A crazy twisted train wreck
Revisado: 08-07-18
Okay, this book was weird. The first 3/4 of the book was awesome. Full of suspense and crazy twists and turns. Then toward the end it just got bizarre and far fetched. But like a train wreck or bad accident, I couldn't turn away. In the end I did enjoy the book. The narrator was awesome. He did great voices for all the different characters. So over all a good listening experience.

Historia
Boisterous, ribald, and ultimately shattering, Ken Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest has left an indelible mark on the literature of our time. Turning conventional notions of sanity and insanity on their heads, the novel tells the unforgettable story of a mental ward and its inhabitants, especially tyrannical Big Nurse Ratched and Randle Patrick McMurphy, the brawling, fun-loving new inmate who resolves to oppose her.

I really enjoyed this book. It really shows how far some one will go to be the winner. I also really enjoyed John C Reilly's narration. I cant believe this was how mental illness was treated at one time. This one will stay with me.

Excellent narration and classic horror.
Revisado: 10-25-15
Stephen King is a true master. I read this book years ago and I remember be so scared but didnt want put it down. Steven Weber does great with narration and his different voices for the characters. Still gives the chills, and I will always dislike clowns.

Another great Walsh sister story
Revisado: 05-03-13
Who was your favorite character and why?
Helen Walsh was great. I love her sarcasm and her no nonsense attitude. It was finally great to have her as the star of the story.
What does Caroline Lennon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Excellent narration, she seem to capture the spirit of each character. She could read the phone book and I would listen.
Any additional comments?
Love most books by Marian Keyes. Especially any of the stories of the Walsh sisters. Like I said earlier I am so glad she finally did a story about Helen.

Some what disappointed
Revisado: 05-03-13
Any additional comments?
I really enjoy Marian Keyes books. I have been a long time fan and wish audible would have some of her earlier books. This book was very hard to follow and the narrator was the worst. Her voice was way to high pitched or something, Not a her best and didn't even finish listening to the whole story.

Dorian Gray with a wicked twisted
Revisado: 05-03-13
Would you listen to Fifty Shades of Dorian Gray again? Why?
Yes. It was an interesting take on the story and shocking at the same time. I couldn't stop listening because I wanted to see what would happen next.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades of Dorian Gray?
I think the ending had to be the most memorable. You saw it coming but you still couldn't believe it happened.
What three words best describe Bruce Mann’s performance?
Not so much. I really didn't feel his narration did the story justice. Some times it was quite annoying
