Bring them to their senses
Revisado: 12-18-24
They were so many golden nuggets in this short book! I really appreciated the stories and the fine tuned examples so that I could learn quickly and implement, and take action. Bring them to their senses and not to their knees, was a very poignant topic for me.

Historia
Most of us believe that we will finally feel satisfied and content with our lives when we get the good news we have been waiting for, find a healthy relationship, or achieve one of our personal goals. However, this rarely happens. Good fortune is often followed by negative emotions that overtake us and result in destructive behaviors.

Leaping into a better me
Revisado: 11-20-24
I enjoyed the easy listening of this book. The unpretentiousness in the authors voice, and the sincere pauses are palpable. He really cares that the listener gets the message. Upper Limits, Einstein Time, Marriage Foundations… all woven into this book.

Inside info about how the wealthy get wealthy
Revisado: 10-19-24
This book was more insightful and loaded with facts than I had imagined. It was very interesting to learn that the affluent can actually create financial stress and even hardship for their children and family by gifting too much money or in the wrong method, financially and emotionally. I recommend this deep dive to any parents who are contemplating their current or future ideals around providing for their children’s future.

Historia
As high achievers, we’ve been conditioned to believe that the path to success is paved with relentless work. That if we want to overachieve, we have to overexert, overthink, and overdo. That if we aren’t perpetually exhausted, we’re not doing enough. But lately, working hard is more exhausting than ever. And the more depleted we get, the more effort it takes to make progress. Stuck in an endless loop of “Zoom, eat, sleep, repeat”, we’re often working twice as hard to achieve half as much.

Eliminating what doesn’t matter is essential
Revisado: 10-20-23
This book spoke directly to me, chapter after chapter. I have always been one who believed more is more, and this books message went straight to the core. I loved it. I loved the examples from various business types. I loved the real and plain comparison of a non-essentialist and an essentialist, which really taught the lessons.
