Historia
Louis is a Trumpeter Swan, but he has no voice. Leaving his wild and beautiful home, he finds a young human friend, Sam Beaver, who helps him learn to read and write. When he returns to the lake, Louis discovers his education isn't enough: the beautiful swan he loves, Serena, can't read his declarations of love, and he can't trumpet them. Louis' resolution to win the swan of his desire launches him on an adventure that will take him far from home and lead where fate and love have a few surprises in store.

It’s a really good book about overcoming challenges especially with music. The music is very good. We liked the music.
This has been one of our favorite books to listen to and a lot is because of the story and a lot is because of the author’s narration of the story.
This is a classic. ❤️

Historia
What is the way forward for the church? Tragically, in recent years, Christians have gotten used to revelations of abuses of many kinds in our most respected churches―from Willow Creek to Harvest, from Southern Baptist pastors to Sovereign Grace churches. Respected author and theologian Scot McKnight and former Willow Creek member Laura Barringer wrote this book to paint a pathway forward for the church.

This is a book that covers all potential harms of the abuse of powers in a church. As the shift from Christ centered foundations move to corporate foundations within the church it reveals a call for “leadership” rather than pastoral guiding and growing within God’s truth in love and grace. There are many real examples within this book of how humans have fallen away from God’s intentions for the Body of Christ.
It is very worthy of your time to consider listening or reading this book and discussing it with your friends. To further your action, I’d even suggest praying and contemplating how this may apply to your church, and, further, how you can be an active participant in being TOV to grow TOV. It takes only one willing to plant the seed to grow the roots. Everyone’s actions and participation matters.

Historia
Ten-year-old Annemarie Johansen and her best friend Ellen Rosen often think of life before the war. It's now 1943, and their life in Copenhagen is filled with school, food shortages, and the Nazi soldiers marching through town. When the Jews of Denmark are "relocated," Ellen moves in with the Johansens and pretends to be one of the family. Soon Annemarie is asked to go on a dangerous mission to save Ellen's life.

Stunning

Beautifully written fictional story based on factual events throughout history. A lovely story of courage and the dream of human decency for all through the resistance of the Danes during the German occupancy and antisemitism of the years surrounding 1940.
This is a wonderful teaching aid for young children and provides many, many opportunity of education and character building conversations. Don’t be afraid to pause to ensure your children understand, ask if they have questions, and/or elaborate or explain something. Thank you to the author and team that recorded this story!
