Historia
From the acclaimed authors of the runaway New York Times bestseller 2034 comes another explosive work of speculative fiction set twenty years further in the future, at a moment when a radical leap forward in artificial intelligence combines with America’s violent partisan divide to create an existential threat to the country, and the world.

Very BORING
Revisado: 01-01-25
Wow, I this must be the most boring book I have read in the last 10 years. You would think a novel of overthrowing the government would be interesting; however, the authors seem to be skilled at really making this plot boring. There were way too many characters to keep up with and little to no character development of them. They all seem to blend into the same character. The narrator was monotoned. I could not wait for this audible book to end.

Historia
The missing don't always want to be found. Kate Harlow recognizes this painful truth, even as she keeps searching for her daughter, Sophie, who disappeared two years ago. The police have stopped investigating - after all, Sophie has sent postcards home, insisting that she's fine. Then one evening, as she volunteers at a charity helpline for missing teens, a call comes in from a voice Kate instinctively recognizes, even through bursts of static and beyond the sudden dial tone that breaks their connection. Those closest to Kate worry she's cracking under her grief....

Surprisingly really good
Revisado: 12-28-24
I was drawn into the storyline immediately. A mother, Kate, has her daughter Sophie go missing. Everyone believes she is safe and just does not want to return home except her mother. A mother always knows that's why I was immediately drawn in. If a mother knows her child is missing even if everyone else suspects she isn't is good enough for me to keep reading to find out what happens. While the daughter, Sophie is really emotionally immature, you really feel sad for her mother who is doing whatever she can to find her daughter, or clues as to where she is.

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

The main character is ANNOYING
Revisado: 12-25-24
The novel was just okay and it probably has something to do with the little airhead main character Jasmine who thinks she is a genius but has poor insight and poor judgement. I like to think she is a bit slow. I also didn't care for the narrator's voice.

I think this is my new favorite writer. This is definitely a must read. It has several exciting plot twists and turns. I love a good plot that does not reveal the villain until the very end. Loved the character development as well.

One thing about me: I HATE flying. It’s my worst nightmare. That’s why I book seat 2A every time I fly. Since my big win, I've been booking seats 2B and 2C as well. They’re my comfort seats, they cushion the claustrophobia, and at last I can afford them. I am now determined to live the life of luxury. I deserve it, after all. How to Live Like a Millionaire is the book I’m reading on this flight. When it lands on the floor, a handsome guy hands it back to me. I know he clocks the title, because he’s totally charming and talks to me as if I’m one of the Marbella Millionaire set.

Really good
Revisado: 12-23-24
While it does start off slow and I debated if I would finish it, I am glad I kept going. This novel has several plot twists and is very engaging. The characters are well defined. The narrator was okay, but that is only because I struggle to like any non US voices/accents that are not NY as it just does not work for me personally and is not my favorite. Sometimes it is hard to understand all these accents. I highly recommend picking up this audible.

Very Very BORING
Revisado: 12-18-24
The main character is boring and seems to lack common sense. A real damsel in distress type of female. The narration is worst than AI. I would have preferred AI really. The plot- 0 out of 5, The characters-0 out of 5, The narrator- 0 out of 5. Essentially this novel is a waste of book binding and ink. Basically this book is about a woman who drops out of college, moves in with her brother, sexes some writer who is later found dead. Sounds like it will be good right, BUT WRONG.

Historia
High school senior Andrew Perrault finds refuge in the twisted fairy tales that he writes for the only person who can ground him to reality—Thomas Rye, the boy with perpetually ink-stained hands and hair like autumn leaves. And with his twin sister, Dove, inexplicably keeping him at a cold distance upon their return to Wickwood Academy, Andrew finds himself leaning on his friend even more. But something strange is going on with Thomas. His abusive parents have mysteriously vanished, and he arrives at school with blood on his sleeve.

Pretty BORING
Revisado: 12-13-24
If I had not spent money on this, I would not have finished it past chapter 10. I did finish it and it is very boring and a very basic simplistic plot. The characters are supposed to be seniors in high school; however, these characters seem elementary aged. I think they are presented as seniors only due to the LBGTQ agenda. The narrator is horrible. It's like someone just learning to read doing the narration. It's like a version of the Nardia series. The novel is really trying to do way too much.

I been catfished for sure on this one.
Revisado: 12-06-24
First, the narrator speaks/ talks like she is reading any old magazine in her monotoned voice, not like she is reading a book of severe trauma by the main character. This made me laugh at this ridiculous book and no one is this touched. The main character seems delayed. So the home owner tells her in the interview she will be cleaning fecal matter and she didn't think that was odd, then the staff tells her to run and she still is like OH, I wonder if I didn't see that over and over. It was repetitive cluelessness. I was bored listening to this. This novel is a mess. No one is this level of dim.

When Heather McKinley dreamed of becoming a doctor, she imagined curing sick kids and sporting pink stethoscopes. She never anticipated the sleepless nights, grueling exams, and endless labs. And she certainly never knew that her medical school earned the nickname Dead Med thanks to the tragic history of students overdosing on illegal drugs. But Heather would never consider doing anything like that. That is, until her longtime boyfriend dumps her, she finds herself failing anatomy, and her world starts to crumble.

Horrible narration
Revisado: 11-27-24
Besides the narrator being HORRIBLE. Reading nasally, and like 1930s talk radio host with no inflection in his voice, pitch, tone at all. Great if you want to fall asleep. I had to force myself to pay attention as my mind wanted to wonder when listening to this narrator. The information was just okay, as it seeks to be a repeat of JFKs books that were published 4 years ago. I was also over it with the author saying he was gang-stalked every chapter.
