This was a very enjoyable listen. Good story and characters. Only complaint is the Boston accent, Not good and not necessary. Otherwise narrator was very good.

What happened to Jessica?

I was so disappointed with Jessica's character in this book. She came off more like an angry, self pitying 12 year old child, instead of one of the top agents in the world. The snarky sarcasm got really old and quite frankly I wouldn't have trusted her either. I will try one more book hoping the Jessica from The Hit reappears.

Great story but way too long

I really enjoyed the story and the characters but this story dragged out so long, by the time I was half way through the book I wanted to pull my hair out. I tried to fast forward a few times but then I would miss a itty bitty piece of the puzzle. If there is an abridged version, read or listen to it instead of unabridged.

Otherwise very good story.

Mel Foster did a good job with male voices but not female, really annoying. Personality that came through with Lauren Ezzo, totally different with Mel Foster. Just didn't work.
It's a good story, different but terrible ending to find out someone else knew the whole time.

Ceasar F. Barajas is perfect. Ceasar's narration helps focus on different techniques with an odd combination of soothing yet upbeat voice. When tips are interjected, they are never startling as with some narrators. I wish audible offered more by this narrator, I keep listening to the same series over and over.

Not a fan of Cork

Great performance and good story line. I had a hard time with Cork, the main character. I don't want to add any spoilers so I'll just say I prefer to like the main characters or at least love to hate them. Cork is just one of those guys, so righteous in all his beliefs toward how everyone else should live and act, but doesn't seem to apply him.

I didn't listen all the way through, these stories are truly for a much younger audience. I would definitely recommend for anyone with children or grand children that like a little scary, maybe between 9 and 13?
