Historia
For Milo, everything’s a bore. When a tollbooth mysteriously appears in his room, he drives through only because he’s got nothing better to do. But on the other side, things seem different. Milo visits the Island of Conclusions (you get there by jumping), learns about time from a ticking watchdog named Tock, and even embarks on a quest to rescue Rhyme and Reason. Somewhere along the way, Milo realizes something astonishing. Life is far from dull. In fact, it’s exciting beyond his wildest dreams.

Lots of good info!
Revisado: 05-19-22
It was very informative. Some of the scientific names make it harder to follow at times. It would have been better if the narrator would slow a little at the more technical parts so I wouldn't have to go back and listen again.

Historia
In Music as a Mirror of History, Great Courses favorite Professor Greenberg of San Francisco Performances returns with a fascinating and provocative premise: Despite the abstractness and the universality of music - and our habit of listening to it divorced from any historical context - music is a mirror of the historical setting in which it was created. Music carries a rich spectrum of social, cultural, historical, and philosophical information, all grounded in the life and experience of the composer.

Occasionally the stories jump a little bit which make it hard to follow. This book also introduced me to a few interesting pieces that I'd never heard of which was awesome

Entertaining Story but...
Revisado: 11-26-21
Spoiler Alert *** The protagonist antagonizes the witness and only follows one lead. She is pretty rude to the innocent witness. I was hoping for a better female detective
