Unless you’ve read all the creature features audible has to offer, I’d save my credits for something other than this. The best way to describe this book is time-filler. If you need something to listen to on you way to or while you work this will do. If you’re looking for an entertaining book with witty banter and little to no annoying tangents about food choices before someone is killed then run far away from this one. The author seems to have a grudge against people over a certain weight forgetting thin people can be out of shape too. She wrote their deaths as if a salad can save you from a 10 ft apex predator known for out-running the fastest athletes.

Seems like this was just a chance to brutalize women in art form. The taunts were literally sexist as **** most of the male victims spoke like they were new recruits of the lil rascals he/man/woman/ hater club. There was no method to the madness. Author wasn’t even creative with it. Just blatant “ why did your vag**a have to come with a mouth, opinion, an actual person.”

I saw a comment saying it isn’t an RH but the gag is… it is. The FMC doesn’t have to choose, all the guys adore her (takes a while to get there considering its a slowburn), and the series shows how they maintain it. Luckily theres no rule that RH cant include bisexual MC (thank heavens).

Just like romantic relationships come in all shapes and sizes so does RH. If M/M bothers you that much then put goodreads to use. Most of the romance section caters to hetero-normative readers. So please don’t begrudge those of who are more openminded about what love can look like.

Im all for Trigger warning topics that can harm and dredge up trauma. However, as one of my fav authors put it M/M MMF MMFMM are all love and in the romance genre, love needs no trigger <3

Ok I’m going to keep this short. The steam was literally non existent. Mia and jensons chemistry seemed like it was written by a machine. Sex scenes actually put me to sleep. Jenson claims he’s sooo in love he can’t see himself with anyone but her and yet he manages to not only agree to take a break but also *spoiler* (gets another girl pregnant).
He expects Mia to take him back because they both agreed to the break and she dated other ppl too (but not once did she get pregnant or even entertain the idea of it.) When Mia refused to play loyal doormat and wait for him while he has a baby with another woman (which any self respecting woman should) he goes and marries the baby mother- but he’s so in love with Mia right -_-.
When they do end up getting back together Mia used the excuse that she can’t control her feelings and hormones around him instead of admitting she has no backbone. Oh and the cherry on top is Jenson believes he deserves forgiveness because he stalked her while she was healing from his betrayal and wrote kiddie books about her. When Mia chooses to move to her dream career Jenson feels like he was betrayed cuz she left him but not once did he try to follow her even though he cut her first. It’s a shitshow that reeks of entitlement, boring sex, annoying couple, and idiotic choices. You’re better off reading anything else. Performers were good though. Sorry they had to waste talent on this

A beautiful continuation of the journey of our favorite mages. I’m so happy with the dialogue. Ive been getting frustrated with a lot of my books lately because so often the dialogue will just be an opportunity for info dumping, foreboding, or causing unnecessary complications. But Jade and her men talk about what they want from each other and life and most importantly feelings!! No things are left unsaid and that’s what I love the most. Wish I got a little more Jade and Xel alone time but that’s because I find them to be the most interesting. Thank you AH

This is one of my favorite RH novels of all time (if not my #1). So hard to find good RH that accurately depicts the hardships of forming a polygamous relationship with others and also offers diversity within the main characters. Thank you Auryn Hadley representation matters.

Romanticizing abusive relationships. Funny how human trafficking is frowned upon by the colonizer keepers (calling them night keepers would be a disservice to Native American culture) when that’s exactly what they did with Tatum. She may have put her hand on the stone but it was that or possible death looking for healthy reverse harem go check out Auryn Hadley books.

I can’t explain how horrible this was. It’s seriously appalling how sexual assault and abuse can be regarded as bullying. It’s one thing if they’re consenting adults with a s/m kink but these are kids in high school. Oh and we have some teacher/student action and a sprinkle of cultural appropriation to top it off. Oh and the guys will put their hands on girls but think themselves oh so noble for not raping (not to mention they’re against rape but not sexual assault since they touch and strip her without consent every freakin chapter). They have the nerve to use a Native American legend as the namesake of their horrid, raggedy, potato head group but won’t even show any honor or respect for their culture. I mean really! The audacity of not only using Native American culture to make your m characters “cool and trendy” but also not having the brain cells to do the bare minimum research that would show how bad of an idea it is to have some rich, spoiled abusive, white men depicted as the monsters from Native American stories. They are literally the epitome of colonizers (those responsible of the Native American genocide). The least the authors could do is state that find a way to honor the culture they appropriated. Honestly there’s so much more ish but I don’t want to waste any more words. Oh and if you are going to appropriate people of color you could put some effort into having a little diversity in your characters besides the tired blonde- blue-eyed-skinny girl trope.
