Historia
It is 1981. Glasgow is dying and good families must grift to survive. Agnes Bain has always expected more from life. She dreams of greater things: a house with its own front door and a life bought and paid for outright (like her perfect, but false, teeth). But Agnes is abandoned by her philandering husband, and soon she and her three children find themselves trapped in a decimated mining town. As she descends deeper into drink, the children try their best to save her, yet one by one they must abandon her to save themselves. It is her son Shuggie who holds out hope the longest.

Mostly frustratingly sad with Shuggie a jewel in the shite!

Beautifully delivered! At times so depressing it got me down. What a horrible life for the poor in Glasgow; a sick society that endorsed “fingering girls and getting pissed” as the only legitimate pastime for teenage boys!

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother's coffin as the world watched in sorrow - and horror. As Diana, Princess of Wales, was laid to rest, billions wondered what the princes must be thinking and feeling - and how their lives would play out from that point on. For Harry, this is that story at last.

The truth will out.

I thoroughly enjoyed this account by Prince Harry. I’m appalled at the deviousness of the palace officials and the weakness of Charles and Will not to stand up for Harry; especially after the paparazzi killed Diana! I could hardly believe the palace pulled their security leaving them blatantly exposed to the enemies!
Well done on putting it all out there Harry!
