what"s special about Lana
Revisado: 10-29-22
This series has been oddly good... but one thing bothers me about it... what"s so special about Lana, what makes her any more special than his other women. Shy has defo been passed over, but im not sure why.

Full of love and heart break 💔
Revisado: 05-14-22
Great story overall, even with a fair bit of continent coincidences to help the story along. But the ending, it builds and builds and then closes like a slap in the face... I was wanting a little bit of closure.

Love this narrator!
Revisado: 07-06-20
The story is good on it"s own, with well thought out character development, but the narrator makes the story of Nona Greay that much better.

Historia
An inn is a place to rest, a place to talk and share stories, a place to find adventure, or a starting ground for quests and legends. It is in this world, at least. To Erin Solstice, an inn seems like a medieval relic from the past. But here she is, running from Goblins and trying to survive in a world full of monsters and magic. She’d be more excited about all of this if everything wasn’t trying to kill her. But an inn is what she’s found, and so that’s what she becomes; an innkeeper, who serves drinks to heroes and monsters. Mostly monsters. But it’s a living, right?

Worst MC Ever
Revisado: 10-29-19
The Main character had absolutely no servival instincts nor common sence, yet was somehow a genius chess player. She nearly died sevral times and got robbed once after getting herself into very avoidable situations. She also continuously ignored helpful advice given to her by local citizens. This was a very frustrating read, I got about half way through before I absolute could not take anymore. The narrator was great though.

Historia
Magnus Chase has always been a troubled kid. Since his mother"s mysterious death, he"s lived alone on the streets of Boston, surviving by his wits, keeping one step ahead of the police and the truant officers. One day, he"s tracked down by an uncle he barely knows - a man his mother claimed was dangerous. Uncle Randolph tells him an impossible secret: Magnus is the son of a Norse god. The Viking myths are true. The gods of Asgard are preparing for war. Trolls, giants and worse monsters are stirring for doomsday.

Narrator killed it for me.
Revisado: 10-22-19
I usually dont go for the Nordic style books, but am not opposed to it either. I enjoy any story rich in culture of any kind, and the ratings for this book where really good, so I was excited to get into it. As soon as I started this book I knew I wouldn"t finish it. The narrator was the absolute worst. Pretty sure someone was like...Idea! You know how Vikings and the nordic people are usually associated with big burly and manly fighting guys with deep voices; well let"s go with the exact opposite for our narrator. End result is like Steve from Blues Clues describing gruesome details like bad ass demons getting their nose hacked off by a demigod wielding a magic sword. I"m sure the narrator would be great for childrens books or something, but this wasnt working for me, just my openion.
