Historia
The Girl of Sugar Beach is the most watched documentary in television history - a riveting, true-life mystery that unfolds over 12 weeks and centers on a fascinating question: Did Grace Sebold murder her boyfriend, Julian, while on a Spring Break vacation, or is she a victim of circumstance and poor police work? Grace has spent the last 10 years in a St. Lucian prison, and reaches out to filmmaker Sidney Ryan in a last, desperate attempt to prove her innocence. As Sidney begins researching, she uncovers issues that were all overlooked during the original investigation.

What the heck??
Revisado: 02-23-24
Interesting, well done story with great narration. Then out of nowhere a hung ending. Is there more to this story out there?? If so tell us so we can continue. I’ll buy more. But to leave us hanging like it does. What a disappointment.

When I started this I wasn’t quite sure what it would end up being, a story, a musical, a joke?? It ended up being a most powerful method to tell a heartbreaking story. A story of good people who suffered such a great injustice. The performances brought tears to my eyes and the conclusion anger to my soul

Historia
There are millions of stories in the city - some magical, some tragic, others terror-filled or triumphant. Jonah Kirk’s story is all of those things as he draws listeners into his life in the city as a young boy, introducing his indomitable grandfather, also a "piano man"; his single mother, a struggling singer; and the heroes, villains, and everyday saints and sinners who make up the fabric of the metropolis in which they live - and who will change the course of Jonah’s life forever. Welcome to The City, a place of evergreen dreams where enchantment and malice entwine.

I wasn’t sure about this story at first but as it progressed the gentleness of the story and the narrator just drew me along. At one point I stopped and commented to myself “This is a nice story”. I so appreciated the wisdom and kindness that kept filtering in. Surprising and touching.
