I loved being back in Maplewood Falls and this time it’s with Levi and Fallon. It should be noted that Fallon is not happy to be in this quaint Christmas town especially since it’s with a man this is ALL ABOUT CHRISTMAS and not of her own doing LOL.

Fallon finds herself begrudgingly writing a story about this Christmas town and don’t you just know it she is walked in on by Levi the owner of the cabin she’s staying in unbeknownst to both of them that she’s not supposed to be there. And so begins a story that finds this so good looking man that absolutely loves the holidays and his mission to remove all the Grinchiness from Fallon.

I loved the chemistry between these two and as Fallon dives in to writing her article, the people of Maplewood Falls start to melt her icy cold heart and it doesn’t hurt that Levi is heating things up too! This book is that much more perfect with the wonderful narration by Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt, two of my very favorite narrators. Their ability to bring all the characters to life had me smiling from ear to ear.

If you love holiday stories that have some heat and a town that embraces all that this time of year brings to life then this is your next must read/listen!

From the minute I started listening to this series I’ve been hooked on this band of brothers. With each moment that I’ve spent in Magnolia Falls I’ve been wondering what happened in Hayes’ life to make him the man he is today. We’ve received glimpses of what it was like for him and Saylor but it wasn’t until this book and Savvy coming home that we get the full picture.

The friendship between Hayes and Savvy literally saved his life in so many ways. She was his safe place even when he was dating that girl that really wasn’t the right person for him and with one action on her part it changed the course of both Hayes and Savvy’s lives. Fast forward ten years and when Savvy comes back to find out there’s a stipulation to the inheritance that she’s been left and so begins a journey between Hayes and Savvy that is not only healing but also enlightening and captivating.

I loved being on the sidelines to them falling in love out in the open instead of pining for each other secretly. There’s a chemistry between them that when they act upon it is sizzling hot and oh so dirty at times…. Queue me turning on my ceiling fan again LOL! The problem with their setup is that it’s supposed to be more temporary for one of them than the other. But best laid plans always get waylaid. There’s a slow change that happened and it was truly fabulous. Love really can conquer all!

There are some twists to their story and thankfully everyone in their circle come together to make sure what’s the right thing to happen actually does. There are some very lighthearted moments as well, either thanks to Beefcake (I love this kid) or their group texts. What made this book absolute perfection for me was the magnificent narration by Andi Arndt and Lee Samuels. I’ve listened to so many books narrated by Andi but Lee Samuels is still somewhat new to me and I can’t wait to listen to him again and again.

This is the perfect wrap up to an amazing series. I’m going to miss Magnolia Falls, but I’m sincerely hoping that we’ll see glimpses of this small town in future books!

I’ve been looking forward to this book since Meghan Quinn has started teasing us with a particular candy cane scene and this book is everything I was looking for and so much more. I was lucky enough to listen to the audiobook that is narrated in duet narration by JF Harding, Vanessa Edwin, Emma Wilder and Robert Hatchet getting me to laugh and swoon! Adding Shane East to the mix who adds special touch to this book just makes it one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to this year.

This story focuses on Cole and Storee who are both entered into the town’s Christmas competition that brings out the best and worst in these two. Cole is the proverbial Grinch and while Storee isn’t necessarily thrilled to be participating, she’s doing it because of her Aunt, both because she entered her into the contest but also because she wants to “pay her back” for all the wonderful Christmas memories she created for Storee and her sister when they were younger.

When the participants are told about each phase of the competition, I could picture them in my mind with all the possibilities that are created especially when Cole realizes that Storee not only isn’t planning on leaving town any time soon, but she’s full on “game ready” which leads to so many moments of me straight out cackling while listening. As the competition moves forward, things start to change for these two first in a fake kind of way, but soon turns to so much more which brings a different side of our Grinch Cole and I’m there for every minute of it!

This is a definite must read book and if you get the chance to listen to it as well, you will most definitely not be disappointed because you’ll have a smile from ear to ear as you listen!

What’s not to love about Grumpy/Sunshine book set in a orchard in Vermont? There’s nothing I didn’t love about this book. Adding to my enjoyment was having the words come to life in my ears thanks to Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow.

This book was previously released when Ms. Montgomery was part of the duo Kennedy Fox with a title of The Fall of Us. I had not read this book before so I’m so glad I had the opportunity to listen to this book. This story brings together two people that are literally the opposite of each other. Finn is all grumpy and doesn’t believe in love thanks to previous heartbreak. When Oakley shows up at the orchard to do a painting their interactions are like oil and water.

There’s only so long though that Finn can ignore how Oakley tugs at his heart and she slowly melts his resistance, and we see a side of Finn that he hasn’t revealed in so long. As they’re falling for each other, we get some of the best witty banter and so much romance I fell right along with Finn and Oakley. This is a perfect book to listen to anytime, but especially this Fall!

I’m not sure I can put into words how much I FREAKING LOVE this book. It’s everything I love about Lauren Blakely’s writing… incredibly witty banter, sexy times that required my fan, and characters that are quirky, bold and focused on what they want and what they realize they need.

When Josie and Wes meet it’s rather comedic seeing as Josie was wearing a t-shirt, scarf and fuzzy slippers trying to get into an event that’s she’s definitely underdressed for… but Wes to the rescue and it leads to an amazing night and one they’d like to have a repeat of… however, there’s the pesky little problem of not knowing how to contact each other. That of course changes and I was giddy with glee when they became roommates!

I love everything about Josie. She’s a woman that goes after what she wants but not in a fast way, because, hey she’s a librarian and research is her middle name! She’s filled with love and determination and focused on not only addressing a bucket list but also finding a way to stay in San Francisco. Wes is a man that is focused on his hockey game and when his team captain Christian comes to their team looking for someone to have Josie stay with them, little does he know that the woman he’s been thinking about will now be under his roof!

These two are so perfect for each other. They manage to bring out the parts of them they have sometimes feared for a multitude of reasons, but they also allow themselves to be who they’re really meant to be with each other. They embrace each other’s idiosyncrasies which leads to so many very good things. And their chemistry is ON FIRE!!

One of the many things that I love about Ms. Blakely’s books are the easter eggs she has in her books… characters from previous books/series and places they’ve been. Hearing from her secondary characters brings a huge smile to my face!

The magic of this book is contagious and when I add in that I had Connor Crais and Erin Mallon in my ears bringing every nuance of this book to life and it’s pure perfection!! I can’t wait to see what’s next in this new series!

I loved the first book in this series, but this second book, if it’s possible, is even better. I fell hook, line and sinker for Everly Plum and Hardy Hooper. What starts as a simple “assignment” to not only be a hired bridesmaid, but also a matchmaker takes a 180 degree turn once Hardy, who was originally planning to get his ex-girlfriend back with Everly’s help, realizes his connection to Everly is stronger than the bond he had with his Ex. I loved it so much as we see their “relationship” change and grow as the story moves along.

One of the reasons I love Ms. Quinn’s rom-com books so much is that her witty banter between the characters literally makes me laugh out loud so many times while reading. Everly and Hardy have some of the best conversations, whether it’s humorous or more intense I’m there for all of it!

This book was brought to life with the fabulous Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke as the narrators. I was able to sink into this story and have this amazing story truly brought to life. I’m sure I got several weird looks as I was driving down the road and laughing hysterically thanks to these two. It elevated my reading experience ten-fold!

This a definite must read and/or listen or both if you’re in the mood to laugh and swoon!

I’ve missed Sugarland Creek and I was thrilled to be back in this small town for Landen and Ellie’s story. There’s so much animosity and hostility between these two. The problem is that Landen doesn’t really understand why. He just dishes it back to Ellie every time they’re together. And the snarky banter is fabulous.

I love how we get a peak into Landen and Ellie’s lives from several years ago as those events changed everything about who they are. And there’s a twist in this story that I thought I had figured out…boy was I wrong!!

Their story revolves around Ellie being trained to be come a champion Barrel Racer by Landen’s sister Noah and when Ellie comes to her for training she had no idea she’d also be working with Landen. Even with how much they don’t really get along, Landen still makes sure Ellie is training right and safely so imagine to everyone’s horror how one night changed everything after she falls off her horse. She can’t remember a lot of things and that includes her hatred for Landen. And he makes sure to use this to his advantage to show Ellie how good they can be together.

His care for this woman and how she blossoms with him had me sighing and swooning. This man is full of love for her and as they grow closer and are able to express their feelings they both fall hard. But when Ellie gets her memory back, with their love be challenged again by outside sources that are entwined in both of their lives? Will love conquer all? Can they get past the pivotal moment that changed the direction of their lives all those years ago?

I was lucky enough to listen to this book and oh my goodness, Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter are pure perfection for Landen, Ellie and the entire cast of secondary characters. Their ability to bring all the emotions of this book to life was a listeners dream. I was truly captivated listening to them and I’m one-hundred percent going to be listening to this book again and again. I highly recommend this book and series if you love small town romance that’s filled with witty banter, heat and so many swoon-worthy moments!

I’ve loved every book in this series, but this book by far is my absolute favorite. We go on an emotional and beautiful journey with Nash, Emerson and Cutler aka Beefcake. Their first meeting wasn’t the best experience with the exception of Beefcake because he fell hook, line and sinker for Dr. Emerson as his new pediatrician.

It was clear from the beginning there were sparks between Nash and Emerson, but as much as Nash felt something he hadn’t felt in a very long time, his main focus has always been Cutler so he tries his very best to ignore those sparks, but that fades away pretty quickly when he realizes not only is she his son’s new doctor but also their new neighbor.

I took great glee in experiencing their love story unfold. One of the biggest obstacles in their way is the fact that Emerson is only in Magnolia Falls for six months so no one wants to get attached to each other, but a beating heart knows what it wants and it’s truly out of their control. Oh and Nash is so swoony!!! His ability to care for Emerson and show her what she means to him and Beefcake both individually and as a family unit had me smiling from ear to ear.

The group texts between all the guys had me rolling at times. These men that are brothers and connected in ways that will never falter really know how to dish it out just to get a rise out of each other. But on a dime they’ll turn into the most fierce band of brothers reinforcing why I love these men and their wives and girlfriends proving once again, family isn’t always about blood.

There were a few very emotional conversations between Emerson and Cutler that cracked my heart. This little boy is filled with so much love and their connection truly were life changing for both of them. Emerson’s connection to him was not something she expected, but she fully embraced it and their love shines through every single time they’re together.

Emerson not only brings out the best in Nash and Beefcake, but in the other residents of Magnolia Falls. It was wonderful to watch her progression of being accepted into this small town where everyone knows everyone and everything about each other. Her journey in this book is one of discovery, emotion, heartfelt and a love she felt she’d never find. For Nash and Cutler, they’ve literally found the other halves of their hearts. This is a book that will resonate with me for a long time to come!

There’s one more book in this series and I have no doubt, Hayes’ love story will be amazing. An added bonus of this book is we meet the characters for Ms. Pavlov’s new series starting in 2025!

The joy I received in reading this book was completely enhanced by the magnificent narration by Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton. They bring this stunning love story to life in all the best ways possible.

This is a not to be missed book in this series whether you read it or listen to it, you’ll come away with a feeling of so much friendship, family and love.

King and Saylor or EVERYTHING!! I’m so in love with this series and with Magnolia Falls so with each visit it’s like returning home. Their connection was solidified a few years ago, but in King’s mind, she’s completely off limits because she’s his best friend’s little sister. But with all the time they’re spending while he’s helping her buildout her romance bookstore, temptation becomes too much for either of them to ignore. And so begins the should we or shouldn’t we portion of their love story.

I had the pleasure of having this book come to life for me thanks to Jason Clarke and CJ Bloom and it completely enhanced my experience with this book. I could feel their passion and angst of making decisions that might not settle well with their group of friends. They’re ability to bring King, Saylor and the entire town to life was literally “music” to my ears!

One of my most favorite things about this book is the true friendship King and Saylor have and going from friends to lovers was so wonderful. Their witty banter and teasing is what makes their love that much better. Their connection is unlike either of them have experienced and while it causes some tension with Hayes, it’s worth everything for them to have their HEA. If you haven’t started this series, do so now. Whether you’re reading it or listening to the books, or both, you too will fall in love with Magnolia Falls!

If you follow my reviews, you know that I’m a lover of ALL THINGS Amy Daws and her books are an automatic 1-click for me. The moment she started hinting at this book I knew it was going to be a book that would make me laugh and smile and swoon. What I wasn’t expecting was to feel a little bit of heartbreak because Trista is a women that’s had a hard life and she has an inner mantra that literally broke me sometimes. I so wanted her to see herself as more than the surrogate she was hired to be; that she could have love and rely on someone and not be disappointed. It was a struggle for Trista and Wyatt in this book but Amy Daws DELIVERED with this book!!

I was lucky enough to be able to read and listen simultaneously to this unconventional story and Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon bring everyone to life spectacularly. As much as I smiled while reading, listening to them had me cracking up!

I devoured this book. I snort laughed more times than I can count. Not only does Trista struggle with not believing she can trust anyone, there’s a turning point in her inner turmoil when she has a conversation with her sister. We learn so much about what her life was about in some of the most intimate moments and when Trista reveals to Wyatt what her life was like growing up my eyes were clouded with tears. This girl is all sorts of complicated and independent and no one can blame her for how she feels.

Ms. Daws does a wonderful job of showing Trista’s growth in this book. It was perfectly played out and not over the top and fit with how her life is changing. And Wyatt, with the help of his brothers, realizing that it’s okay for him to love this woman. That a previous relationship didn’t ruin him for a relationship he just wasn’t ready for until he met Trista!

Another thing I LOVED about this book is seeing Everly almost all grown up. It’s a little bittersweet. But it’s fabulous that she’s still her little matchmaking self!

This book is filled with everything I love about Ms. Daws’ writing… witty banter, sizzling sex, emotions that I didn’t know I needed to feel and a story that I can’t help but love. I can’t wait for Calder’s story!
