Historia
Before you knew him as the king or the Immortal, he was Commander Xavier “X” Rodriguez—with ninety-six dives under his belt, the most experienced Hell Diver on the airship known as the Hive. Time after time, he dived through the electrical storms, returning with parts to keep his home in the sky. Then, on a jump into Hades, the most hostile environment in North America, he sacrificed everything for mission and team. They returned to the airship with the fuel cells needed to keep the Hive running, but X was left behind.

Great story but felt rushed
Revisado: 11-27-24
So I want to start out by saying Nick is my favorite author and 3 of his series are in my top 5 favorite series. His writing style and ability to capture our hearts and attention is like no other. I was extremely excited for this story and I really did enjoy it but it felt rushed. I feel like there could have been so much more adventures written. wasn"t he there for like 10 years? (it"s been a few years I forgot the exact amount) and I would have loved to followed him all the way to when he was saved once more. What is there was amazing I guess I"m just disappointed with what is not there. But keep up the great work Nick I"m stoked for Rhinos story!!

Historia
The Forerunner has decimated the Vanguard Islands in a surprise attack from the Trident warship. King Kade Long—seeing no alternative—accepts a peace deal, committing to a perilous mission with X, the “Immortal,” to activate weather-modification reactors at the poles. But as Kade and X set off, the fragile peace is threatened by Gran Jefe’s one-man guerrilla war against the psychopathic knight, General Jack. Meanwhile, halfway across the world, Michael and his family begin to settle into their new life in the Canary Islands, only to discover that it’s not the sanctuary they believed it was.

The end we didn"t want but the end we needed
Revisado: 08-16-24
Let"s be honest, if you made it to book 12, you are a big fan of this series. The characters we have spent years getting to know whether we loved them or hated them, they made the story what it was. Each time a book came out, his fans would refresh audibles waiting for the title to release so we could be the first to listen, I know I did. So why was this an ending we didn"t want? Because we didn"t want it to end at all! But it beautifully wrapped up each story, except I still refuse to believe Roger is dead. I want a body not a pile of ashes, Mags deserved more! But as Heros came to an end we cried, we mourned, and cheered at every corner of this final story for X and The crew. I cannot wait for the spin off stories! But these 12 books will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you Nick and R.C Bray for this

Historia
In The Gift of Failure, leading conservative commentator Dan Bongino identifies failures in his life and how those failures led to bigger and better things. With the same laser-focused intensity that has made him one of America’s most popular voices, Bongino uncompromisingly cuts to the heart of failure with a collection that is inspirational, motivational, entertaining, touching, and redemptive.

Dan has always been an inspiration to myself and my Husband. But one thing I had always struggled with, was, letting my failures beat me down. Just the first chapter alone has made me rethink my failure and start to see how I could have used those to my advantage. the added commentary to his narration makes the book very enjoyable just like his pod cast!

Historia
More than two centuries after World War III poisoned the planet, the final bastion of humanity lives on massive airships circling the globe in search of a habitable area to call home. Aging and outdated, most of the ships plummeted back to Earth long ago. The only thing keeping the two surviving lifeboats in the sky are Hell Divers - men and women who risk their lives by skydiving to the surface to scavenge for parts the ships desperately need.

If you"re unsure...
Revisado: 10-06-21
Reviews are great because they help us figure out, "is this worth it?" Well I"d like to answer, yes. I had just got Audibles and struggled finding a book, in fact I had wanted a medieval fantasy book but I got this suggested to me. It wasn"t the book I wanted, but it was the one I needed. I fell head first diving through an electrical storm with the main character. I cried, I mourned characters, I laughed, and I just absolutely fell in love with this book. You follow the main character X through literal hell on earth as he fights monsters, rads, and trying to keep the last of humanity in the sky. Hell Divers is the only way I could describe what X does, they are actually diving into hell. You don"t just follow one story but you get mini breaks and follow other key characters seeing things from their POV opening up different perspectives on the situation. Throughout the book and series there is never a dull moment and no, the good guy does not always win. The book is voiced by R.C. Bray who by himself has created magic in this series. His voice brings each character to life giving them personality, emotions and really helps grasp you into the world. Personally I highly suggest getting this book and starting your adventure with X and the others. You won"t regret it.

Such a captivating story full of surprises. There was a lot of character growth from the last book. the stories between each group of characters had me on the edge of my seat, some stories even leaving me in tears. as with each book before, it ends with you craving for more. I cannot wait for book 9!
