Historia
This classic expose of the Fed has become one of the best-selling books in its category of all time. Where does money come from? Where does it go? Who makes it? The money magician's secrets are unveiled. Here is a close look at their mirrors and smoke machines, the pulleys, cogs, and wheels that create the grand illusion called money. A boring subject? Just wait. You'll be hooked in five minutes. It reads like a detective story - which it really is, but it's all true.

Entertaining way to present “boring” subject
Revisado: 07-23-24
The stories told for both history and as a means to give better understanding were well presented and engaging. I learned a lot and hope to review this in hard copy form again and again.

The enemy is invisible and moving fast. The body count is rising. And time is running out. Marcus Ryker has spent his entire career studying killers. But when senior American officials who support the plan begin violently dying, Clarke orders Ryker and his team of CIA operatives to hunt down those responsible and bring the killing spree to an end.

Exciting story, but hard to listen to
Revisado: 06-14-20
I enjoyed the story, but I could ‘t listen for long periods of time because of the reader’s pattern of pausing frequently in almost a staccato fashion. Other than that one attribute of the reader, he read well.

Enjoy learning about Chuck's life
Revisado: 06-12-15
I enjoy Chuck's openness about what he has gone through and how he has felt and feels. Seeing how God has worked in his life and how he has grown in his relationship with God makes me respect him even more.

Hard to put down
Revisado: 05-08-15
At the beginning I kept trying to figure out how the two story lines worked together, but once I got over that, I got so wrapped up in the story that it was hard to put down.

Revisado: 03-19-15
This was a very straight-forward, almost clinical, description of one Marine's experience in Iraq, a Marine who is also a woman. While listening to the audiobook, I felt like I could see through her eyes, and in so doing, I could better understand what it was like for a woman to be in a combat zone. It brought back memories of my time in the Corps, but it also enlightened me concerning the side I never experienced. Well done, Marine. Thank you.

Historia
A country girl named Polly is visiting city friends and comes to realize that this world is quite different than which she has left. Here people are judged according to their dress and manner of speech rather than for their honesty and hard work. Yet all who meet Polly cannot help but be enamored of her; her sweet simplicity is unlike any that they have ever seen, and soon everyone comes to realize that Polly is not someone to be laughed at and ridiculed, but someone to put upon a pedestal for failing to become willing prey to the cynicism of the times.

Long-time fan of this story.
Revisado: 03-12-15
I have loved this story for decades and was ecstatic to finally find it in audible version. The reading was quite good with only a few places I would have changed things, but nowhere a significant alteration.
