Historia
Lawman, manhunter, peacemaker–it takes a hard breed of man to survive as a Texas Ranger, but Chick Bowdrie stands head and shoulders above the rest. The rough trails are his home, from the Big Thicket to the Pecos to the border. He's dried by the desert sun and wind, scarred and toughened by uncounted gun battles, and when you look into his black eyes, it's like looking down the barrels of two .44s with their hammers drawn back. He rides in the name of justice, but he lives by his own law–Bowdrie's Law.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this to adults and children alike. Anyone who just appreciates dramatized stories will not be disappointed in Powder River. My 8 yr. old son loves these fantastic western stories!!
What other book might you compare Powder River - Season One to and why?
I think the family and moral values and ideas presented in Powder River remind me a lot of the little house on the prairie stories! The father son relationship is a true winner!
Which scene was your favorite?
This one is a tough one to answer because I so enjoyed the complete season.
Who was the most memorable character of Powder River - Season One and why?
Of course, the Marshall. I really love his strength and his love that he has for his deceased wife! That in it self wins my heart..
Any additional comments?
I will look forward to listening to the rest of the seasons. I am so glad that there is no foul language used in Season one! I hope they continue this for the future! Its a good clean program for anyone, and that is well worth the money to me as a mother.

A story of understanding
Revisado: 04-07-13
Would you listen to Unlocked again? Why?
Yes, I would because it held a lot of information and the scenes that were wrote had lots of feelings and things that any human could relate and could identify with on a normal day to day situation.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Unlocked?
I think the part where he actually performed on stage. It was the moment that the entire book lead up to...
What about Roxanne Hernandez’s performance did you like?
She put lots of feeling into her reading. She created moments where she made her voice and her dynamics fit the exact expressions of what was written. I could actually visualize the countenance on some of the characters faces just by listening and hearing the words and her intonations.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, not really because there were extreme sad moments in my opinion, where I needed to take time and move onto something else in my day. It actually took me a few weeks to finish listening to this book...
Any additional comments?
Overall this was a wonderful book. I really felt like I was in the mind of the autistic boy. I did feel however that the book was never going to come to an end. It seemed like it could have concluded a few chapters earlier then it actually did. I would recommend this book to anyone.
