I remember watching this TV series when I was a child. However, as usual, it just doesn’t quite do justice to the story in the book. A great story about overcoming adversity and dealing with the challenges that life deals us with A hopeful heart.

Fun for any age

The storyline and performance of Riley Mack and the other known troublemakers was fun, engaging, and contained several opportunities for moral discussions. An excellent read to listen to with any child in your life. Or by yourself. 😉

Repetitive

I appreciate the subject matter and the gravity of dealing with a narcissist. However, a 20 hour book that repeats itself endlessly, becomes too redundant to continue. I was only able to listen to a quarter of this book before the repetition felt like I was wasting my time.

All businesses have challenges - partners, employees, customers, vendors - and Dr Cloud can help leaders to come to decisions that are right for the business when the leader may be oblivious to where the problem originated or is simply too soft-hearted. Excellent work!

As humans, there are many stories of failure, tragedy, and de- evolution. There are also stories of triumph, heroics, and struggle. We do our children a grave disservice by protecting them from hardships, struggle, work, and history. Real, dirty, history.
Senator Sass compiled a remarkable argument against the coddling of our children &, perhaps more importantly, proposed solutions to our current coming-of-age crisis. Well worth the read.

I wondered where that thin-woman brain went.....

Using food for comfort, socialization, showing love, etc, has been a habit that I have engaged in routinely for most of my life. I really love excellent food, but I always ate too much & too much of sub-par quality until I felt full - uncomfortably full. Having guidelines to judge when, what & how much to eat, but doesn't restrict large groups (I.e., no carbs, no fat, etc.), allows the freedom from guilt & the empowerment of listening to my body.

Mr. D'Souza's in depth, albeit unintentional, research into criminal organizations brings about stark insights about the political crime lords in America. Have you always "felt" that most political figures were lying & that was just the way politics is? I've heard that, but I also felt that it doesn't have to be that way & "something" has to be done. Dinesh D'Souza uncovers the conspiracies and, with relatively fresh insight as an Immigrant to America, offers his suggestion as to what can & MUST be done to SAVE AMERICA from these thieves.

Cyber Storm was a good book. An interesting combination of city life, survival and our dependence on electronics - Specifically the Internet. Human nature and humanity were both portrayed.
