disappointment.

strong start, seemed to be an interesting plot. then turns to.. something.. much much worse.
from the introduction to the main "story" the entire book changes to drivel, goes from a military engineer officee in her 60s to acting like a preteen pubescent girl. almost like a main story point is just used as spice.
and apparently every female in this "new world" is also a lesbian, for reasons I guess.
feels more like it went from dungeon core to high-school musical drama, finished the first book hoping it would get on point after explaining "backstory" but alas it never happens.
reader did an excellent job however.

Strange fixation with airconditioners aside. book is a fairly decent play.
Reader pronounces words oddly but is tolerable.
I will probably buy the next book.
