Historia
Bristlebrook is up in smoke, my brutes are dead, and Sam’s camp is a powder keg begging for a flame. Injured and furious over their losses, the surviving hunters are preoccupied with their own problems. Their factions and allegiances. Their internal wars and pissing contests. The new world they want to forge. They don’t look twice at their meek little captive.

Holy Angst and Cliffhanger!
Revisado: 01-23-24
I don’t have the words to properly say what I’m thinking without giving spoilers so I will just say that this all-star full cast did amazing at keeping me on my toes through the angst and sexual tension while making me laugh at the most inappropriate times. Rebecca’s writing and storyline is *chefs kiss* with the high attention that is put into the details. The performances topped the cake and you could tell each of them cared about this project while bringing out raw and real emotions. It was fun getting 4 new all-stars added to the original cast! I’ve listened to a lot of audiobooks and this has me in a constant chokehold as I wait for book 3.
This is book 2 of the Brutes of Bristlebrook and should be listened to after Ensnared. Please be aware of Trigger Warnings.

Historia
I don't mess around with stuff that overcomplicates my life. I love my career, and I love my family. Love itself, however, is overrated. It’s only ever let me down, and brought me pain and misery. But love isn’t the same as lust, and when it came to spending a night with the very handsome Staff Sergeant Powell, I said yes.

Short, but wild ride
Revisado: 01-13-24
An amazing performance in duet style brought to you by Joe as Sawyer and Rose as Naomi.
This short and spicy story packs a plot punch and leaves you aching for more. I did have questions at the end that I wish could be answered now, but in Nicole we trust 🖤 Listening to previous works from Nicole, I’m not surprised that she was able to end the story on a good note while leaving a world left to build. What she writes is interconnected in one way or another and Sawyer and Naomi’s story was created for something more. Buckle up buttercup because you’re in for a short, but wild ride.

Historia
I've got everything it takes to make it in Tinseltown: confidence, charisma, and a killer chin. Now all I need is a chance. But Los Angeles is full of hot young hunks, and talent might not be enough to separate me from the cookie-cutter crowd. So I devise a wild scheme to get noticed. Pretend I’m someone I'm not—good-bye Will O’Connell of Cincinnati and hello Liam O’Connell of Dublin. "Liam" and his talent with accents is enough to get my foot in the door, but I never anticipated meeting the woman who has me more worried about keeping my foot out of my mouth.

Joe, a Talented Storyteller on Paper & Audio
Revisado: 01-12-24
There are moments of straight visual poetry as I listened to Joe’s words. We get rawness, vulnerability, and spice wrapped into a beautiful “fictional” package that gives us a sneak peak into the life of an actor. There were celebratory moments that made me so sad because of the alternate life the MMC had to create just to catch his big break. The life is cutthroat and sometimes we have to do crazy things, but be prepared for facing the consequences.

Amazing Series & Performance 🖤
Revisado: 01-07-24
I didn’t think Nicole could do more damage than she already did to my heart but I was wrong. I’m trusting your process Nicole, but my heart needs some aftercare. So carefully and beautifully written, Embers dropped bomb after bomb making me blush, laugh, cry, and drop my jaw. The spice is hot and well placed while the plot is so thick and twisted, you’ll be reaching for your comfort blanket. Grayson and Maxine were phenomenal in their performances and embody Jaxon and Natalie so well 🖤

Historia
Finnick O'Reilly became my dark prince the day he rescued me from my bullies. I hoped and prayed that my savior would return after the day he saved me, but he never did. I was heartbroken, but it was for the best. He saved me just to torment everyone else in Grove Hill.

Came for the Smut, Stayed for the Story
Revisado: 01-05-24
I’ve had Zepphora’s books on my TBR for a bit now and after receiving the ALC, I’m so glad I could experience it through the narrators.
The story is written in first person dual POV with a duet style performance and I loved it. Reckless was a great introduction to Katie Thompson. Katie’s tone portrayed Francine’s “good girl” innocence, but developed as her thoughts and actions did throughout the story. Teddy has that “bad boy” tone that I’m familiar with through other dark romances which made him perfect for Finn and his filthy mouth. There’s sexual tension with a daddy k!nk and good banter between the main characters. The story is more than just smut and I was here for it all! Though it’s obvious their story isn’t finished and will most likely continue in the other characters’ books, it didn’t necessarily leave off with a cliffhanger.

A paintball battleground. A wrestling mat for sleep-deprived new daddies. A feminine product aisle in the local drugstore. These are some of the places where men connect...at least in The Bromantic Comedies. A compilation of humorous and heartfelt plays exploring what it means to be "masculine" in a world where men are supposed to be tough.

Loved the concept of the short audio plays. It was my first audiobook for the new year and it made my day. The bloopers were everything I thought it would be with such a great group of narrators.

I’m in trouble. A quick and dirty hookup with the hunky mechanic I just met is bad enough. But when that God-like twenty-year-old turns out to be a student in my English class, I know it’s about to get much worse. Pax Smith isn’t just the star player on the rugby team at Florence U and the hottest man I’ve ever been with. He also has a dark sordid past, and it’s written in the deep scars all over his face.

First MM Romance & Whoa.
Revisado: 12-31-23
I love Sara Cate, but I have yet to listen to an audio performance of her books before now. It’s only fitting that this is also my first ever MM romance. This is an age gap with Thomas the professor who has a one night stand with Pax, a mechanic, who we find out is a student in his class. Joe Arden and Grayson Owens did phenomenal bringing the characters to another level of trauma healing, vulnerability, and sensuality with a whole lot of spice 😮💨🌶️

Now That’s a Performance
Revisado: 12-30-23
This was a great quick and dirty listen with revenge, age gap, ex boyfriend’s dad, spice, and more. I’ve listened to Sebastian’s work before and was looking forward to this, but damn Janine! The voice inflections during each scene amped up my own emotions to match. This was my introduction to the narrator and I was eating it up! Lake sure gets her revenge after her ex cheats on her and it was a fun ride 😏

Jucy Does It Again!
Revisado: 10-12-23
I already loved this book when reading it and was excited to find out Joe and Lucy were narrating it. They brought this book to LIFE. You get great banter, spice, and a mess of feelings from the way they portray their character’s emotions so well.
