At first glance, Capt Maddox seems one-dimensional, but every story fleshes out more complex sides to his personality. I like that he is dealing with metaphysical obstacles, opening his mind to issues that challenge his long-standing beliefs. I am hooked.

As I was nearing the end of this book I tried to slow down time knowing this was the last book in the series. I feel like I have just said goodbye to a old friend and surprisingly enough I am saddened by it. I hope this is just a pause because this is a worse feeling than the ending of the Bobbieverse. Thank you for this gift and I hope you resurrect it in the near future. “SKIPPY FOREVER!!!”

When I first listened to Columbus Day, I wasn’t expecting much based on the title. Now after several years eagerly awaiting every installment, I feel like a drug addict waiting on my next fix. As an ex-Army combat medic, and a life-long sci-fi fanatic (when I was a child, African-American kids just didn’t say that openly) I find myself visualizing every nuance of the Expeditionary Force’s world. And R.C. Bray is my hero and I’m 58!
May the Expeditionary Force be with you!

I have been reading SciFi, fantasy, and futurist stories for decades and there are very few series that I am addicted to; Craig Robertson’s Jon Ryan is one of them.
I was hooked since finishing the Forever series and have purchased every book as soon as they are released . Sometimes I think? “Ok, he’s going was off the rails now; he’s battling Ancient Gods billions of years after the Earth was destroyed, but I find that I can’t stop listening and when ion have finished, I am stuck desperately trying to find the release date of the next story. I have come to the realization that I am a Jon Ryan junkie.
The narration is excellent as always, He makes you feel as if Jon is an old friend keeping you company. Please stay with him!
I hope his adventures never end. Carry on with these great stories sir, if nothing else, you have my money guaranteed!!!

Needed to be a full-length book. R.C. Bray was fantastic as usual. Please do no more of these .5 mini stories.
