In there, she finds the love story of Isabel and Lorah, along with a photograph of the two young women from 1933. The diary, like the love affair, was short and brief, but rich and vivid enough for her to feel a true bond with the women despite the heartbreaking ending.

Absolutely LOVED this book

Well worth the read... the love story that's behind the book was unexpected and beyond heartwarming. I'm usually not a crier but the story broke me. So so sad, but I understood being the time it took place. I highly recommend this book. I will definitely will re-listen to this book.

Don't waste time or money!!!!!

Very winey lead, acting like a 5 year old for the whole book. I had to jump to the last few chapters to finish. To much of the same thing over and over and over. This book could and should of been half the lentgh. Quinn.....winey big baby, very ungrateful. Hated her emensly. Loved Lacy, how should put up with such a premadona is beyond me. I don't recommend at all unless you want to waste umpteen about of hours out of your life......

What did you like best about this story?
I liked that it continued outside of the other Honor books, That being said, Abby Craden should have narrated this since some characters where from the Honor Series. When you get the voices of Blair, Cam and all other characters for so many books, it's kinda hard to listen to a book with same characters with different voices, takes away a lot.
Have you listened to any of Betsy Zajko’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No I haven't. I didn't like her narration. Didn't know which character was talking, nothing distinguishing in her voice to tell or any character's apart. I was looking forward to the Justice series coming to audible, but now that I know she will be narrating, not sure I'll but them. Abby Craden who did the Honor series........ FABULOUS!!!!!
