Bad Editing
Revisado: 10-03-17
The story is good, as is the performance (Joel Leslie is one of my favorites), but I was disappointed with the quality of editing. There were some big discrepancies (who told Sean about the knotting, for example) that screamed at me. But I don't think it would bug most people. I am studying English in the pursuit of becoming a book editor, so I notice these things more than most.

Historia
NYPD Detective Alec MacAidan has always been good with weird. After all, his life has been a string of the unexplainable. But when an injured man gives him cryptic clues, then turns to dust in front of him, Alec's view on weird is changed forever. Cronin, a vampire Elder, has spent the last 1,000 years waiting for Alec. He'd been told his fated one would be a man wielding a shield, but he didn't expect him to be human, and he certainly didn't expect that shield to be a police badge.

It was Good
Revisado: 09-17-17
The story was good, though I have to admit, it did ring of the movie, "Return of the Mummy."
You have a protagonist who is destined to save the world from some pycho who wants to resurrect some ancient Egyptian evil dude. Throw some vampires and gay sex in there, and that's the book.
