I enjoyed this very much.

It’s always hard “retelling” a story that you have known for years. I was very intrigued though to learn it was the story of Snow. Everyone has a past, events that make them who they become. It tied into so many things from the original books. Katniss singing hanging tree is now even more poignant for me. Overall I enjoyed the book, but it seemed like it was rushed at the end. Nice pacing then bam. That would be my only complaint.
