Historia
To me, that's all Lucian Aston is—a highly sophisticated, posh Englishman who stars in my daydreams. Mostly because of the way he views me as a loud, boisterous, no-nonsense surgical nurse he's stuck touring London and Paris with up to the day of his groundbreaking surgery. Until then, we've got a lot of downtime to kill. So, it's only natural that I put my best foot forward to get to know him a little better. Problem is Lucian has no intention of taking a single step in his fancy wingtips to meet me halfway. That is until we strike our deal.

I didn't want it to end 🥹
Revisado: 08-25-24
This is such an amazing love story!
It's funny, entertaining, full of love, discover of yourself, character development, angst, family drama, chemistry, banter, steamy and dreamy scenes, and well.... a lot more!
Lucian is stoic and polite while Jane is carefree and spontaneous.
That's definitely a great recipe for an epic love, when she starts to break down his walls, one crass comeback after another 😂😂😂
She's exactly what he needed to let go of his grief and start to live again.
I'll also say that the appearance of Tyler made me want to do another reread of the Ravenhood Trilogy!
Great narration for the audiobook, and that's probably the reason for my 5 starts review, cause I think I would be a bit bored and drop a star to the whole history of England and France, if not for the deliciously British accent on my ears.

Historia
I’ve loved her from the first moment I saw her. And I’ve loved her every day since. Whether we’re together or we’re apart—that hasn’t changed. Which is saying a lot considering I don’t like most people. But life has thrown us a slew of curveballs and we went our separate ways. Life, family, jealousy—we let it all get in the way. I’m a dad now, and my little girl is my world. And after years apart, Presley is back in Cottonwood Cove. I don’t believe in fairytales or second chances. My heart belongs to my daughter now, and there is no room for complications.

The perfect ending to a perfect family!
Revisado: 11-19-23
My heart hurts knowing that this is the last book in the series and it's bittersweet to say at least, cause the relationship between Cage and Presley is as precious as all of the previous ones.
It's a second chance romance between the girl who got away, and the boy that was left behind to raise his child alone.
We all fell in love with little Grace along the series, and couldn't wait to see the grumpy older Reynolds to finally let go and have some fun.
I loved how Cage was protective of Grace and also how fiercely Presley embraced a kid that wasn't hers.
This series brought so much love and light to my reading time, that I can help but be a little sad that this is the last book.
Cottonwood Cove and the Reynolds will be forever in my heart ❤️
I'll definitely start the previous series now, cause Laura is fast becoming one of my favorite authors!

I'll miss this series!
Revisado: 08-09-23
It's hard to review a set of books in a even bigger series, but I'll try...
First I'll start with the narration, that I loved in all three books. It was spot on.
Then let's talk about the series.
I've started this series in 2021 (I think 🤔), and if you came this far, you know how dark and intense these books can be, but that's not why it took me that long to finish it.
After reading Tiago's book and that Cole's backstory was in his own love triangle trilogy, I had to stop and prepare myself to read it before I could continue with The Deliver series.
I HIGHLY recommend you to read or listen to it, cause it will put a spotlight on Cole's past and give you a lot of closure.
These last three books were more tamed on the dark side, in comparison to Tiago's or Mathias' books, but it was intense nonetheless, with rape and violence but also with alpha males intended on doing everything for their chosen one.
I have to say that Cole and Thomas were my favorites in this last installment of the series.
All of them deserved the world and I loved how in the last book, the whole team was together!
I'll miss them 🥺

Amazing story, amazing narration!
Revisado: 07-04-23
It's been forever since I've listened to an audiobook that hooked me on every aspect of the story... the romance, the suspense, the mystery and the political entanglement!
The author set a fast pace to the book, with lots of action, a couple with chemistry galore, seals and secret agents all over the place and so many interesting characters, that I'll be definitely checking on her backlist!
This book have a plot that I particularly, never read before, even though I really enjoy any military novels, it's my first time listening/reading about archeologists and ancient artifacts in war zones.
I loved how everything was told, and how real the flow of the story felt.
I was holding my breath in the end, and I absolutely loved Diana and Chris!
Highly recommend it!

Issa Dubova is the queen of cloudy diamonds: a Bratva princess. My reluctant new wife. A pretty bargain in exchange for the names of the men who killed my father. I'm a black suit of spades: determined to bury both her and my demons. I never asked to see the shape of her heart. I never asked for her to fill the blank spaces of mine. But the mafia wants her secrets. I'm not the first she betrayed. And Issa? Sweet, not-so-innocent Issa? She's now a debt no sinner can pay.

A good mafia novel with a good narration, but...
Revisado: 06-28-23
I really enjoyed this story. The mafia plot was interesting enough, even if a bit over the top, with a secret society drama in the middle of the mystery.
I liked their interactions and their attraction. They fell in lust and that's what I was expecting since their first encounter, but I also have issues with a few things.
What bothered me the most was that everything happens in 6 days! And when I say everything, it's because A LOT happens in the story on the mafia side and on the romance aspect for such a short time.
It's like a month of little things happening in a single day. I mean... He was waiting for his revenge for 14 years and in 6 days he's forced into an arranged marriage, gets married, bullies his new wife, sail through Europe, makes her fall for him, take a flight, kill some people, discover a secret society, have lots of s3x, falls for his wife... And I can go on and on and on with the amount of things that happens in just 6 days!
That is something that always bother me, so maybe if you don't care for this kind of timeline, I'm pretty sure you'll love this one!
There's a few open things, that I imagine will be revealed in the next books, even if they're not for the same couple.
I liked how it ended.
🎧 About the Audiobook Narration 🎧
Narrated by Elizabeth Russell and Gregory Salinas.
This book have a bunch of different nationalities like Italian, British, Russian and American. The narrators have a great voice, and their interpretation were good, but their accents were terrible to the point where sometimes I had to go back on the audiobook, to listen again and try to understand what was being said.
That part wasn't good.

Historia
Want to know what happens to a man who barely claws his way out of a tragedy, only to fall right into the arms of the one girl in the world he can never have? Another tragedy, that's what. When I was six years old, my father made a choice that altered the course of my entire life. Because of what he did, the only girl I ever loved became the only girl I couldn’t have. In a lot of ways, I did have her; I had her first steps, her first words, her first smile. I had her milestones, her heartbreaks, her dreams.

This book is heartbreakingly beautiful!
Revisado: 05-06-23
I've read two other books by this author, so I knew all about her type of emotional damage inflicted, but I wasn't totally ready for the pain and suffering that Brant went through during his whole life!
Was it all nightmares and pain? No! Definitely not. After the first tragedy, he was with a good and loving family, and it was incredible to see Brant, Theo and June growing up together and protecting each other.
The book is pretty slow on the romance, and to be honest, it wouldn't work if it was different. They were foster siblings, and although Brant was pretty adamant that he wasn't their brother since he was already 6 years old and not clueless, he knew he had a loving mother and couldn't accept any different, but June was just a baby... She never knew a world without Brant living as her brother, just like Theo.
I won't get into the details of the story, cause I honestly love it, and think it's beautiful, even when it made me cry and want to just hug Brant for a long time.
At one point in the story, June was living her dreams, while he was just existing... It was pretty sad.
So why am I giving 4 stars to this story if I loved so much? Cause I still can't see the point for the death of a dearest character. I can totally understand when authors go killing characters that will add up to the story, but in this case here, it was just to increase the suffering of people who had already suffered enough for a lifetime in such a young age! So yeah... I'm bitter about it.
After all the storms that they crossed to be together, their rainbow was bright and beautiful in the end, and I'm really happy at how it ended.

Not exactly what I was expecting...
Revisado: 04-21-23
Sooooo....
This book was really unexpected and I'll tell you why...
As a reverse age gap, I was honestly wishing for a different point of conflict than the ones that authors usually uses for this trope... I was unlucky on this one, and that disappointment is on me... I shouldn't have been expecting anything other than a good time.
To be fair, after a couple of hours, it was really a good time. I'm not gonna lie, I've listened the first 3 chapters twice, cause I was pretty sure that I was missing something. The story starts as if it was already in the middle. There's no background to their "connection" other than the mention that he works at her favorite restaurant, and remembers her choice of drink and food, even if she's not been there for about 2 years. The start of the book is kinda of like a bad porn, with him hitting hard on her and she crossing her legs to "alleviate" the aftermath of his advances.
It was from zero to a thousand in the span of 3 chapters, with them already in love, banging, and he wanting her to carry his children. So it was insta love, insta lust and insta everything since chapter one.
But after the initial shock, I was pleased with how the story developed, again if we remove my disappointments with the point of conflict being about her age, or his immature jealousy of her successful ex, the story was entertaining.
She was a loner and he had a big family to offer. One third of the book is about Elvis or the same thing in three different languages.
And despite all my ramblings here, it was a good time.
I'll attribute it to the great narration.
Tate was an Irish/Dominican/American (I think?) and whatever more was thrown in the mix, so he had an accent that sounded really good on the audiobook!
If you're into fast stories that are borderlining on erotica, I'm pretty sure, you'll love this one!

Amazing narration and the perfect closure to them!
Revisado: 04-20-23
It's done! I can't believe that it's over, cause Sasha and Kirill will forever be one of my favorite couple from the Russian Mafia ramification in Rina's world!
Sasha was strong and wild, but she was also caring and possessive of Kirill.
The end of the last book was brutal with her emotions and I wanted to kill Kirill myself, but of course that it was all about Kirill's house of cards, and he was still pretty much only Sasha's!
This last book will untangle the secrets of Sasha's family and finally show the truth behind the massacre. I really enjoyed that revelation, and it was something around my guessing anyway.
Packed on the action, full of blood and bodies count, this book delivered everything that I needed for them both!
Kirill groveling and being the perfect man for Sasha in the cabin was my fave moment!
I cannot wait to see how the unhinged Adrian will be like with his Japanese princess!

A perfect start for a new series!
Revisado: 03-22-23
Hugh and Lila are just perfect!
There's no other way to describe them, and I'm not just talking about them as a couple or a sure thing, but as friends, as business partners and as their own person!
Lila is Hugh's best friend's little sister and the angst that comes with this trope is definitely present here!
I loved that they were close friends before anything else, that he was protective of her since childhood... That he was the one trying to resist the pull between them, but also the one who was falling harder.
He was perfect to her, respecting her desires and dreams, and being a safe heaven for her while she tried to help her dad and reunite her family, and although the virgin girl trope doesn't appeal me that much, the topic was so fluid and funny here, that I didn't really care about it.
Her brother annoyed me a lot, and if he hadn't seen the light at the end, I'm pretty sure he would've got himself a long rant here 😂😂.
Overall this is a great start to a new series, with interesting characters, the right amount of sweetness mixed with funny moments and obviously, a hero with huge BDE and the big appendage to fit the energy! 😂🔥
I seriously can't wait to see his siblings falling in love! Bring them on! ❣️

What a wild ride!
Revisado: 03-20-23
To be honest, at first I thought this book was moving too slow, but that's what's expected in a second book of a trilogy.
But then things started to move into place and everything was happening at such a fast pace, that in the end, I was breathless!
Kirill is definitely a master manipulator, and Sasha can't hold a candle to his wicked ways!
My strong girl had fallen hard for her monster, and he never prioritized her. Poor baby girl! I cannot wait to see her delivering his misery next! 😂
I don't really know what to think about this intense cliffhanger, but I'll be the one dying while I wait for the last book!
Kill me now!
