As always, Anna Hackett wows with interesting characters and a well fleshed out story line. I am not a fan of the performance. The performers don’t set the right tone for an adventure/love story. The narration sounds “forced” and unnatural.

Christine Feehan Delivers Again

Another great read by Christine Feehan. The characters were well developed and the storyline gives a glimpse into the often untold story of BDSM. Much better than the Fifty Shades series.

This is another Suzanne Wright success. The story line and the narration were both great as always. There are very few authors where I will buy anything they write. Suzanne Wright is one of the best.

Terrible Narration

Great Story but Poor Narration

I love Christine Feehan’s books and will buy anything she writes, but the narration on this book is so poor that it greatly detracted from my listening experience. The only thing that would make it better would be a complete rework with a better narrator. This narrator sounds like a creepy stalker. He simply can’t do erotic narrative.

Great Book, But…

I love Christine Feehan’s Carpathian Series. It was the first series of Christine Feehan’s books I purchased and they are awesome. I have not found a book in this series that is not great; the story lines are awesome. However, this book is not awesome since it stops every five minutes and i have to restart it. The problem is with the book, not the earbuds I use to listen to it. I know this is true because when I switch to another book, the stop/start problem goes away. I would have given the book a 5 across the board if this problem did not interrupt the listening experience every five minutes. I even deleted it from my device and downloaded it again. The problem persisted.

Another Awesome Book by Christine Feehan

I have purchased every book in all four series of Ghostwalkers, Dark, Leopards and Torpedo Ink. Once again, Christine does not disappoint. Her stories are engaging and well plotted. Her characters are believable and memorable. I will read any book Christine writes.

Christine Feehan Rocks

There are authors who just can’t write anything bad and Christine Feehan is one of them. I’ll buy any book in any series she writes. Shadow Keeper has just the right blend of erotica, paranormal and suspense I love in Christine’s books. Highly recommend!

Great Story Bad Narration

As always, Christine provides a great storyline. However, the narration is so bad that it is difficult to follow along and to know who is speaking. James McAdam is not good at narrating female voices. I encourage Christine to return to her previous narrator. Had she used the same narrator as previous books, this book would have a 5 star rating.

The majority of the characters in this story were of Russian origin, but the narration didn’t reflect a Russian tenor.
