Historia
Over just the last few decades, laws in this nation have exploded in number; they are increasingly complex; and the punishments they carry are increasingly severe. Some of these laws come from our elected representatives, but many now come from agency officials largely insulated from democratic accountability. In Over Ruled, Neil Gorsuch and Janie Nitze explore these developments and the human toll so much law can carry for ordinary Americans.

A book every American should read
Revisado: 09-25-24
Justice Gorsuch & his co-author Janie Nitze have done the nation a great service by detailing the harm & dangers of the federal & state administrative over regulation. We have the greatest constitution ever devised by human minds but the utopians who believe in the perfectibility of man through expertism, like Woodrow Wilson, would over throw it in favor of the administrative state in order to achieve their ideal society. However, as we saw during the COVID 19 panic, experts are prone to error and bias just are all human beings. The authors call us back to a system of limited government, that pushes decisions closer to the people and holds those making decisions accountable to the governed. Our constitution isn’t outdated, it is not followed. Let’s hope Americans will see that the greatest threat to our liberty is not outside forces, but an ever expanding federal government that has developed an unelected & unaccountable 4th branch of government that devours the product of our labors and our liberty. Hopefully this book will help to wake Americans to that danger.

Revisado: 03-03-24
The educated elite are out of touch & damage those they claim to champion with their promotion of ideas that they don’t live out but encourage in the lower socioeconomic classes. Stable two parent homes are the greatest social welfare program in the world & the educated elite have undermined them to the detriment of individuals & society. Rob’s story is inspiring, enlightening, & instructive.
