The beginning was a little info heavy (chapter 2 &3 ) but after that I couldn't put it down. I read it in 4 days and that says it all. Not just during dog walks or workouts I was reading it every chance I got because I needed to know what happened next.

So Boring

I'm 28 chapters in and the whole story so far is an inner struggle of the female MC and her feelings of self worth. She does but doesn't want to be with 5 men, she is too old for them and she isn't pretty enough for them to like her. That is the WHOLE first 28 chapters, half of the book and it's so boring. The men have to like her because they are forced to. It doesn't feel like they would pick her without Lane being her mate. I'm sure the relationships will grow to be more but I'm honestly not reading the rest of this book to find out.

If you really want to read this, start at chapter 20 and save yourself the time.

So SLOW!!!

The faster I finish a book the more I enjoyed it. I've been listening to this for 2 weeks and I still have 11 hours left. The story isn't bad but I find that instead of sneaking this book like a have others in the past (on break at work, while grocery shopping) I'm only listening while walking the dog. It needed to be shorter and more to the actual story instead of the wasteful fluff that I'm stuck in. Don't even get me started on the horrible, pointless, unrecognizable song mashups that she does, so annoying. I never connected with the FMC.

Long but good

I enjoyed this series and I realize it’s 3 books but I stopped in all 3 books and thought “this is a long fricken book”. The cliffhanger on book 3 sucks. I’ll probably continue with the next 3 after a small break.

Sweet and sexy

This was a good story with a nice pace. It was good balance. I bought this one because it was a stand alone but I enjoyed it so much I might go get the next one in the series.

The whole series was a waste

I like RH books, this series was a total waste of my time. I'm so mad I paid for these books. I overlooked the youngness of the main character in this first book, it didn't really seem to bother me. The first book wasn't that bad the next 2 in the series were completely worthless. I can't even tell you how much crap is literally moot. They bring up several HUGE problems only for it to be fixed without any help from anyone. Everything just resolves it's self.

Contradictions is this series
1. A 20 year old be threatened with child protective services
2. A OVERPRECTIVE mate leaving her alone in a dangerous situation
3. A old alpha who is still alive and for some reason just gave up his pack
4. 8 over protective mates letting their mate go off alone
5. A 300 year old wolf conceding to a 20 year old
6. A 300 year old wolf giving away info that they are trying to keep secret
7. A woman who was captured tortured and on the edge of sexually abuse forgetting all of it overnight except 1 small problem
8. A random inner turmoil with one of the men that has no purpose
9. Having an endless about of people around that you could ask for help and just not bothering to ask anything.
I COULD KEEP GOING, but I'm stopping here

Spoiler: The main Character ends up pregnant and the whole thing is just ridiculous and pointless. It's like the author said I'm going to make a series with 8 men and wouldn't it be a SHOCK if she ended up pregnant and then tried to fit a story around those two things.

Another stupid female

I really liked the beginning of this book. In fact half way through I downloaded the next one in the series. By the end I was so annoyed I almost didn't finish the epilog. The FM was selfish kept throwing temper tantrums over her sister and magic, really you talked to your sister and know she's okay but you still can't last more than a day without getting your way, By the end I didn't care what happened to either of these characters. He actually says at the end of the book that he will love her for the rest of his life but that won't be for long since she insist on doing stupid things to put them both in jeopardy (behind his back) because she thinks she knows better than a beta wolf/sheriff.

It almost feels like this writer is used to writing teen books and is trying to shift over into adult romance and failed. It could just be me but why can't anyone write a female lead who isn't super annoying these days..... They don't ALL have to make horrible decisions.

Cringy

This book was very cringy from the first sex scene between strangers that we as readers knew next to nothing about, all the way through the extremally weird final villain scene. They also kept refencing characters from another one of her series. I was the reading the first book in a series so to have characters throughout the book pop in that I didn't know was just confusing and a bit annoying.
