For a free listen, it was decent. Story was meh, characters were kinda boring, FMC irritating and immature. All the plot twists at the end are "Once Upon a Time" derivative. I"m certainly glad I didn"t spend money on it, but entertaining enough.

Fantastic sequel to Butcher and the Wren. I broke at the end and cannot wait for the next one!

This book brought me to tears

I discovered Matt Baume not too long ago and when I saw him flash this book, I was immediately here to get the audio book. I had no idea how important sitcoms have been in our (queer folks) history. I grew watching many of the shows discussed. It brought me tears to hear of the effort and activism behind the scenes to forward our rights.

Inspiring.

I"ve never been a huge Britney fan, I admit. I was raised in SOAD and Korn at the time she was the "it" girl. That being said, I am definitely a fan now. Her strength through her incredible hardship is nothing short of inspiring.

Moving account of the horrors of a corrupt system.

This is beautifully written. Damien Echols has a way with words. He so clearly paints a picture of his life and what he experienced before, during, and after the horrendously mishandled trial. Jarring at times without being out of reach.
Worth the credit.

I genuinely adore this book. I"m a long time fan of Daniel and I was so excited when he wrote a book. When I downloaded it and realized it"s a mental health book, it was like it was sent from the universe. I needed this now. I"ll need this in the future. If you"re struggling with your mind, and like soft Brittish accents, this is the book for you.

What in the world were they thinking?

Speaker for the Dead is a story that explores ender"s journey into manhood, demonstrates how no matter who, everyone is a person, and what it means to love an imperfect person.
But what the hell was going on with the voice acting? The first reader was enjoyable, and the one with the slight accent was quite good as well, but I didn"t like the other. Aside from my personal preference in readers, there was no discernable rhyme nor reason for when they switched voice actors. The performance ended up doing a dis service to an otherwise spellbinding take of friendship, forethought, and contemplation on life and higher meaning.

Perfect for a light listen

The cat who series is a magical world perfect for escaping reality for a little while. The characters are compelling without being complicated and the story is mysterious without being suspenseful. 10/10

Informative and uplifting

as a Catechumen with the Antiochians, this book has been very informative. The historical perspectives tied in with practical realism for living today is uplifting.
