So freaking good!

OMG! From start to finish this book is amazing. Waiting all year for a Karin Slaughter book is torture, but always worth it in the end! Her writing style, story telling ability along with excellent narration by Kathleen Early is sublime!
Will and Sarah’s story has been intriguing from the start and this book continues with the thrills, suspense and tension I’ve come to expect from Slaughter’s books. She never holds back and makes us confront harsh and painful realities in this world. If you’re looking for fluff you won’t find it in a Karin Slaughter book. What you will find is raw, heart wrenching stories mixed with a bit of romance and even some humor to help lighten up just a bit before she drags you back under and has you sitting at the edge of your seat, listening to the wee hours of the morning!
I have listened to every single one and after finishing this one way too quickly, I may have to go back and listen to her catalog. Brava!! 10 stars if I could.

Gripping Story

An arranged sapphic marriage, uniting an Irish mob family with an Italian mafia family.
The story is gripping and filled with tension as the two women, from opposite worlds unite as their families demand. Juno is committed to her family and Caitlin is wild and free.
The author does a good job of portraying the difficulties of the arrangement along with the growing attraction and love between the women.
As Juno’s enemies target her and her bride, how far will Juno go to keep Caitlin safe?

Good story with good narration. I’m ready for book two!

I am an avid Karen Rose/Hillary Huber fan.
The mystery grabbed me and kept me guessing in a whole dunnit way. The characters are likable and the side characters as well.
Looking forward to the next in the series!

Loved it!

I truly enjoyed the story of Lola and Carmen. It’s well written with spicy, steamy scenes that move the story forward.
Lola, although annoying at first, grew on me as I came to understand why she is the way she is and how she uses her aloof, angry persona as an armor of protection. Witnessing Carmen thaw the ice was satisfying.
I’m diving right into book 3!

Slow Burn Sapphic Romance

A sweet, slow burn sapphic romance with steam and spice. This is the first book in the Dominion Series.
I enjoyed the writing style even though it was a slow slow burn lol. Lots of building of sexual tension as the story of Roxxxy and Adriana unfolds.
The narration is very good and her voice is perfect for this book.

Thrills and suspense!

This twisty suspense thriller is my favorite of the Bree Taggert series so far!
Bree and Matt investigate the bodies of several women found off a wilderness trail. The story leads you in one direction then takes a sharp turn in another. I honestly didn’t guess the killer and was surprised by the motive. The subplots are just as interesting and throw the reader off the trail of the killer.
Great story with great narration!

All the feels

The characters were likeable and engaging. Good storyline and lots of evoked emotions. This book explores family dynamics and its implications as we learn about Arlette and Brooke. They were friends, and a little more, in college that have a falling out and run into each other 10 years later. Their chemistry is obvious, but will past hurts stand in the way of possibility?
This is an engaging story that pulls at the heartstrings at times and also makes you smile.
I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the story.

If you like a sweet rom-com with a Dr McIcey ice queen and her adorable melter, this book is for you!
The story flows nicely as we get to know Ellie and Regina. Very entertaining!

Great story!

I loved reading the book and Angela Dawe’s narration took it to another level. Excellent! The humor, tension, suspense of the story flows easily from one chapter to the next.
This book gives us a more intimate understanding of Michelle and her life choices and Eden is sunshine and breath of air.
