This one was a big disappointment. Not worth the credit or money. Only good was the scenes with earlier family members.

Still dealing with grief, Ian Reunites with Besty

Ian and Harlow find themselves in a world of their own as a close friendship develops quickly and they support each other through childhood. Best friends grow up though and find each other again after a separation of years. No longer kids or teens, they are still each other’s person but there is the added element of sexual attraction and an awareness of their comfort in each others presence. They recognize they bring peace and comfort to each other but struggle with the fear that they might harm their friendship if they follow through with their desire. Ian is a protector since age 5 and Harlow is sensitive to both his and his daughters needs and emotions. Neither are overly communicative or outgoing so lots of buildup and brooding and angst but a sweet ending. Good narration. Worth the credit though I would have enjoyed more scenes with Ian and his brother and sisters.

This is a story of sadness, of what appears as a story of star crossed lovers but ends up being about a guy who so afraid of disappointing a brother that breaks his girlfriend’s heart and then gives up his second chance in grief and by blaming himself because his spoiled, self absorbed younger brother tragically ends up in the wrong place ant the wrong time. Not a positive story. Why not have a pastor give comfort and where is the grief counsellor that Trey desperately needed. I do not recommend if you are looking for a little angst but a happy romance. I liked the previous books and the Blackburn family but this story was morose until the end. A nice epilogue but it doesn’t make up for a less than stellar story .

This story had some obnoxious villains, a too quick forgiveness of an office mean girl, and a sweet little toddler. The plot is interesting and the romance is steamy and sweet but the story is too slowly paced and in need of an edit which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Worth a listen or read if you like romances with great families and some heat between the characters,

Zoe is a bit of a mess relationship wise but pulls it together. Liam a just broken relationships wise but extremely strong willed and stubborn enough to not seek help with his issues. A very sweet happy ending.

1st in series about 4 sisters with a backstory that includes an older brother and sister-in-law. Oldest sister Molly is required to assist with a marketing campaign that includes her high school crush Noah. Noah has been totally focus on his game since an incident with high school Molly when he was in college and is thrown off when a nine year older adult Molly comes back into his life unexpectedly. Characters are interesting but narration is terrible. Noah sounds like an old man and Molly has a loud obnoxious whiny voice. Will be either reading only and skipping the audio of any thing else by either of these “performers.” I recommend the book but not the audio version.

A bit overly long but a sweet romance. Two best friend teens have a falling out, separate, and the eventually reconcile. Set in RI, the story drags a bit as the pair work through their relationship. Very sweet ending, which is the only narration from Jason Clarke. Andi Arndt does a good job but would have been better as a duet or even dual narration. Worth the credit.

Angst ridden, poignant love story with a bit of mystery

Revisado: 10-16-24

An anxiety ridden young woman comes home for her beloved father,S funeral to find the best friend she betrayed is pregnant and willing to forgive, her financial and psychological future interwoven with her BFF big brother who had always been the subject of her fantasies, and having to confront fears and severe insecurities heightened by being once again the target of the town mean girl mayor. Great tale and interesting, quirky, over blown characters. Only complaint is with the often flat tone of female narrator Lila Winters, whose performance was too lifeless and often boring.

Zara Cooper Petrov (Victor & Zoey’s daughter from Stone Hockey Series) meets Gabriel Mcintire (Ethan & Emma's son from the Southern cowboy/southern wedding series). They live in 2 different worlds that have already been linked as extended family by Zara’s brother and Gabriel’s cousin. But their chemistry is off the charts like their grandparents. Some drama, hot sex, and some very slow parts but a couple of great Epilogues. Aidan Snow’s narration was great as was much of Mia Madison’s but she did occasionally narrate in flat monotones. For fans of both series it was well worth the credit and cost of the kindle. Lots of family members are included in scenes which is great. Having both makes it easier to check back on who is related to who but I really wish there was a paperback bundle with the first 3 of the older generation stories for both series as well as pull out family trees. The Hollywood series family is small and easy- a couple whose 2 kids marry into this brood but when each branch has about 50 people and there are 2 Parkers, 2 Coopers 2 Zoes, 2 Zaras and guy whose first name is Stone after his mom's maiden name , grandpa & uncle it gets confusing unless there is a good visual.
