Amazing book with a phenomenal performance by Ray Porter! You will not be disappointed. It starts a bit slow setting the stage but once it gets going it doesn’t slow down or let go of you till the very end!

MORE OF THE SAME SAME SAME…. Same characters, same boring story!

Love the narrator but the series has been beat to death. Every single book is nearly identical. Plot never changes.
McGill is a wild man that doesn’t obey orders.
McGill goes off script and find creative solutions to problems that threaten the existence of humanity.
McGill succeeds and yet is blamed and threatened by every person around him. McGill doesn’t care.
McGill never ever responds to a situation the way a rational human would. This is insanely annoying and illogical.
I gave this series and good long while, but I’ve come to realize every book is the same and it just gets old and boring! Moving on to better writing!

Ignore those that critique the sound effects or background music! That was absolutely masterfully done! Looks like every person that complained of the background music was elderly and hard of hearing! Buy some top quality headphones, close your eyes on the couch and you will got lost in this masterpiece! 10/10!!! Incredible in every way!

I’ve heard this title in rave review my entire life. Always highly regarded as one of the greatest classic books of all time! Although the writer is brilliant... the story is lacking and drones on and on with nowhere to go. The great climax they trick you into thinking you’re building towards never happens... a flat story with a totally uninspiring ending! Great performance by the narrator though!

Soooooo damn frustrating!

This is a very long book! It builds and builds and just when you’re expecting this massive throwdown climactic ending.... it falls totally completely flat. Good guy loses, bad guys get away, it appears to be a pathetic and shameful attempt to lead into a sequel book! Dick Hill the narrator, was, as always, the highlight of the book! His performance is second to none!
