Sorry, but
Revisado: 12-10-24
The story was no real mystery. The humor was dragged down by repeated asbergers references. We get it. Too many similar characters too.
I am a fan of Cooperman. Really. This just misses the mark for me.

He’s the headmaster of a strange orphanage on a distant and peculiar island, and he hopes to soon be the adoptive father to the six dangerous and magical children who live there. I love everything about this book
Revisado: 10-23-24
Without even knowing it is happening, tj klune teaches us while he enchants us. His characters are wildly different and otherworldly yet enter our hearts with everything they say or do. The very core of humanity, kindness and joyfulness is found from beginning to end of this story.
I thought The House in the Cerulean Sea could not be matched; then, The House Beyond the Sea did just that.

The Story
Revisado: 10-11-24
After the first chapter narration, Whoopi’s crushed. In the beginning she read as if telling a children’s story. After getting her rhythm down, she told the story like an adult.

The characters are unique
Revisado: 06-13-24
The 3 books were fun and interesting. The plots could have been tighter. When there are a lot of characters, as in book 3, I spent too much time trying to remember who was who.
