Two shifters one pack leader another a loaner are thrown together. They are attracted to each other, but is it more than lust? May Sage writes a story of passion between two shifters who aren't sure they are meant to be. It was a decent short read, however not enough to pull me into wanting to read more of the series.
The best part was the narration by Kai Kennicot and Wen Ross. They brought the sexual tension to life through their narration.

Great Narration

Thyme Bellerose seems to have a lot going for her, a great boyfriend, a job at the family business what could possibly go wrong? Then Katrina hits and while the storm is not the cause of her demise, the truth is a lot stranger. Fast forward to present time and Billy Blade has a great rock star career. The only issue, he can summon the dead while playing his harmonica. Trying to get away from things Billy meets up with the ghost of Thyme and they fall for each other.
I found this book hard to get through. For me the saving grace for this book was listening to the audio done by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. I really liked Thyme at the beginning, but then everything went over to Billy who I just didn't connect with as much. If you like crazy ghost/new Orleans books this will probably be up your ally.

Cute Short Story

What would happen if Cupid was off his game because he fell in love with a mortal? This is a cute little love story about Cupid and a girl named Valentina. Starts with a "meet cute" and goes from there. Cupid doesn't want to fall in love with a mortal and his friends try to get him to see the errors of his ways. There are angry Gods and consequences and a fast moving story that makes you wish there was more. This is the first book of the author's I have read and look forward to reading more.

The narrators for this book are good. The male does a really good deep sexy voice. The girl was fine, this book was too short to really bond with the narrators.

Snarky Strong Female Book

I loved this book. The narrator did a great job of delivering the snarky dialogue as well as doing multiple character voices. The book revolves around Diana a Fire Elemental as well as Alec a vampire. While they travel around trying to find a coven of black witches they bond. I enjoyed their relationship because they both were witty and they did not fight incessantly. I am not someone who gets choked up about a book, but the end of this book caught me off guard. If you are a crier I would suggest having Kleenex around. The book ends without a major cliff hanger, but has made me curious about the world and I want to know more. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of paranormal romance.
