Captivating! I couldn’t stop listening!

Tamera Alexander has done it again! This is my fourth book of hers and it’s still amazing to me the detail in her writing. She weaves the story in and out and makes you long for more. While it makes your heart ache for the unimaginable decorum of the era, it gives you a great appreciation for the historical background and far we’ve come, thank goodness! Her characters come to life and you feel you are in the moments with them. Her description of the scenery is incredibly vivid. The humor comes at just the right times and you applaud the sassiness of the heroine. You’ll fight for Olivia and Ridley to be together, just as they do themselves, to the very end!

I couldn’t quit listening!

The story was so well written I found myself smitten with all the characters, but the audible reader brought it to life! I found myself weak kneed when the main character was wooed by her pursuer just from the reader’s use of different voices! I can’t wait to read more of Tamera’s novels! You will love this book!
