Historia
After Lucy is found wandering the streets, covered in her best friend Savvy’s blood, everyone thinks she is a murderer. Lucy and Savvy were the golden girls of their small Texas town: pretty, smart, and enviable. Lucy married a dream guy with a big ring and an even bigger new home. Savvy was the social butterfly loved by all, and if you believe the rumors, especially popular with the men in town. It’s been years since that horrible night, a night Lucy can’t remember anything about, and she has since moved to LA and started a new life.

Decent whodunnit

Might have been a bit more drawn out than necessary but I liked the characters

Really great story

This is my first five star read in a long time. Loved the story and twists and waiting for the reveal. Awful narrator.

Want a sequel
Revisado: 11-03-23
I loved it but I think we need a second book. The ending came wrapped up with so many loose ends. Maybe the trial, what happened to everyone, etc. there are a lot of questions that would make a great follow up.

So many stories in one. It’s like the author couldn’t decide which one to tell. No real character development or likable ones even. It’s not worth the read.

Historia
Blogging about bad dates used to be fun, but a girl can only take so much foolishness. So I broke up with my job. Okay, full disclosure, I was fired. It’s a long, sordid tale, involving my sourdough starter - RIP, Fred! - and my ex-boss’ serious lack of humor. Newly funemployed and in need of a break, I go to Asheville to dogsit for my sister…and stumble onto a scoop big enough to put my fake-dating days behind me forever.

Awful narration. Too dramatic and ridiculous. Good story and book without the terrible readers. Really enjoy the authors.
